    I never answer calls from callers too ashamed of who they work for that they won't identify themselves.
    I just keep blocking the numbers.  What a waste of my time.  Wish I know a way too waste their time as well.
    The "Please hold while I go get him" doesn't last long enough.
    Perhaps a referee whistle (high pitch high volume) screech into the phone would have the desired effect.

    Robocall, with automated voice "Hi, this is Andrew..." I just set the receiver down and went on with my work until they hung up.
