No computer has the ability to call for help and nobody can possibly know if something is wrong with your device(s) unless you tell them there is. - Sbug4Just received a call from this number, same claim, "Peter" stated that he was from Microsoft and that my system couldn't update with scheduled upgrades due to a deeply damaging virus stopping the updates. I told him what computer? I don't have one. He said "Let me check, please wait Ma'am." I agreed, and he hung up on me! LOL, I'm no sucker!

- KThis number wakes me up at 7 o’clock in the morning on a Sunday, and doesn’t leave a message. I call back the missed number, and a guy answers who says he’s with Microsoft and they’ve noticed something wrong with my computer. He asks when was the last time I used it. In the background I can hear dogs barking, so it sounds like I’m calling a person at their house. I tell him I don’t believe him, then, he automatically hangs up and puts me into a music hold, then I hang up. Then a robot voice calls me again from the same number, with the exact recording message others reported.

Fact:- ANYONE who calls you and says your computer called/contacted them is a SCAMMER.
- Windows Operating System licenses do not expire.
- ANYONE who calls you and leaves a robo message about your computer is a SCAMMER.
- ANY Tech Support Warning pop-ups you get while accessing the internet asking you to call a number or visit a website, is from a SCAMMER.
- Web Browsers DO NOT have the ability to determine and warn you your computer has an error. They can only warn you about a potential malicious website. A Browser is software that allows you to surf the Internet, not diagnose a computer or phone.
- ANY Tech Support company that insists you need their services because of some error, outdated software or tries to convince you that you need to allow them remote access is a SCAMMER.
- Nobody could possibly know if your computer or devices have an issue unless you tell them or gave them access.
- Tech Support companies DO NOT call to give out refunds because they are "going out of business". In fact NO company gives refunds when going out of business unless they did not provide you with what you paid for.
- Companies DO NOT call to inform you that your subscription will be charged if you don't call back, only SCAMMERS do that. If you have a subscription with someone, they automatically charge you until you cancel it.
- Only a Scammer would want Remote Access to give a Refund.
- 3rd party Tech services DO NOT include Email account repairing or password resetting, since they can not access the email server unless it belongs to them.
Please read about how Tech Support Scammers operate the scams and warn everyone possible about them.
