- LPCD| 1 replyGot recent call/message fom 'nervous' sounding soft-spoken female, who talked about being a "court courier in my area" and informed me of her 'twenty-four to forty-eight hour sevice of a complaint against me'..and provided said number (877-799-8817), as the 'complaintif's call-back number.' These types of scams seem to commence during early fall; I've gotten several in past years.
- Caller: "Court Courier"
- LPCD replies to LPCDSorry for typo: "Complaintant's"
- TaraB1967| 6 repliesA Kelly Knight from "Legal Outsourcing" called and left message stating a complaint or warrant or something would happen if I did not talk to her. I called and she was very nice and said tried to say something about an NSF to repay a Payday Loan. I asked for written verification. I also said Payday Loans are illegial in my state and unenforceable, etc. She said the supposed returned check happened on 12/06/07. Statute of limitations in 5 years so statute ran. I called again because our conversation had to be interrupted. This time they gave me to some guy who said he was working directly with the attorney. Now, I've heard this name before in dealing with bogus debt collectors. I tried to ask this guy for information but he was a Yankee and just overtalked me. He gave me some spiel about how the debt was writtne off until 02/20/08 so the statute clock runs then so he was within the statute of limitations. Um, well technically the statute ran 02/20/13. Maybe he mean 12/20/08 - which case I may have a problem. He said he didn't have send written verification until 5 days after contact. He said then he would just serve me federal papers. I told him I tought it was a scam and he said if it was a scam he would want me to pay and he doesn't care if I pay. I said I wasn't going to pay. He hung up. Hmm...Frustrated. I still think it is bogus.
Anyone with any knowledge. I think this is a new "collections" company or something.- Caller: Legal Outsourcing

- On replies to TaraB1967| 3 repliesI got a call today at my mothers house. They left a message his name was Jonathan Anderson said he was calling from legal caring services and he got paper work from a Second company regarding a legal matter and that I have 24/48 hours o respond otherwise there will be papers served to your home or place of employment where a security officer will need to escort me to you. If you fail to respond you also will be brought p on courts for violation of a court hearing. I never called them back. I have been dealing with these scammers for several years now and according to the attorney generals office a debit collection company is not allowed to state they are severing papers to a person, harassed, ml they must for important information like who the company they are collecting for, the amount, they must I've there address and yor count number. Hopefully this company is all related to the other scammers. But make sure you report it to the federal trade commission. We need to get these [***] behind bars. It is getting old and very stressful!!!!
Ease let me know if you get served papers I would live to know your outcome as well. - from ca replies to On| 1 replyLook them up at the better business bureau: http://www.bbb.org/us/Find-Business-Reviews/name/legal+caring+services/ ..... they are actually Swanson Walker & Associates, and have almost 50 complaints. they are apparently a scam and dishonest. also, Google their address from the better business bureau, there is nothing there but houses in NY... also, this shady loan web site lists the same phone number: http://www.unsecuredbusinessgroup.com .... smells fishy.
- mml replies to from caas another respone I an the one who responded yesterday about them calling my motheres address this is also what I have done:
I have been dealting with these people for years now. I also get calls from Companys from Rossi and Lombordi, American Acceptance Solutions. Dissolution Services an now Legal Caring Services and SwansonWalker and Assocates. I have been in contact with a Dawn Lis from the FTC in DC and she took my case and bascially she told me as of right now there is nothing the FTC and do about this problem because there companies are not the ones that are being investaged right now. REALLY!!!! What about us tax payer american people? I just dont get hte just system. It is okay for these people to fraud and steel our s.s#, but there is nothing we can do. AMAZING!!!!!!!!! - Paul| 1 replyCalled today and left a threatening message, his name was Jonathan Anderson saying he had a service for me and needed to execute it with in 24-48 hours. He is not afraid to serve it at my place of employment where my supervisor must be present as a witness. What a scam. Don't fall for it.

- mml replies to PaulPaul, that is what he left on the machine as well. Its scary if you have someone that falls for there stupid scam. Sometimes, I do call them back and play around with there heads and it pisses them off. What else can we do really? The Government, or FTC wont help us. So Sad:(
- JamieWho does he think he is???? Stop calling here
- Caller: John Anderson
- PLBGot the same message. Not calling them back. I am not afraid. I know plenty of attorneys.

- Fed up!| 1 replyI have also been dealing with these people for about a year and a half now. It is getting increasingly annoying as they call BOTH of my phone numbers as well as my family on some occasions. They have been threatening to serve me legal documents within "2 hours" of the call as well as the typical 24-48 hour time frame. I have filed numerous complaints with the FTC and attorney general and nothing changes. I'm about to just give up on this never ending battle and just change my number and move on. They are extremely threatening and accuse you of defrauding a financial institution. Today, I received a call from 773-304-3627 numerous times in a row. The lady left the same message twice telling me that I need to call her back so she can explain to me the charges she is filing against me as if I did not understand that they are "filing charges" from the other 1000 calls I have previously received. I have been researching these companies for a while now and all signs point to a scam! They are trying to scare people into paying money they either never owed or had a payday loan at some point in time and they are declaring that it was never paid back. I know that I have nothing owed like this and it is not on my credit report... So I'm assuming still that this is a fake "company" full of scumbags.
- mmlk replies to Fed up!I agree I am in the same boat as you I have contacted everyone I just dont get how the government can allow these people to do these things to us. I am ready to hire a atty and get some advice, i am sick to my stomach over this.
I feel your pain. - cjJust got this message. Would have been nervous if I didn't read these messages. I know that it is a payday loan place that have been harrassing me for 5 years even though I have paid them back. Now I know not to worry.

- Not a Fooll replies to OnI Just recieved the same message. These people are scammers !!! I got the almost same call a few months back. Nothing happens , they don't show. I'm just wondering how they got my number. I've been dealing alot with Craig's List..... Is that where they got my number ???
- Lorian RiversI just got the same message from "Jonathon Anderson"...what are they trying to accomplish? Do they think that we are just going to cough up money because they said so?
- KimAll of your comments make me believe that this is not a legitimate business. I received a call from them yesterday, also got the same nervous-sounding girl at first, then she turned me over to a 'Ms. Marshall'. It was like a good cop, bad cop scenario. This Ms. Marshall was rude and pushy but found a way to end the call very quickly after I started questioning her. What worries me now is that they did have information from my credit report regarding an old Bank of America debt, plus they knew about the current limit on one of my current credit cards as well as how long I've lived at my residence. They just couldn't verify which collection agency they were trying to collect for on behalf of B of A. how hard would it be for someone to get ahold of that type of information? I am wondering if I need to check my credit report and make sure everything else legitimate now.

- KimI believe my message was also from Jonathan Anderson, but I called back because when they tell me they're coming to my residence between 24 and 48 hours, I needed to know what was going on. So I spoke to the two women after this message was received.
- lilly| 3 repliesif you paid your bills you wouldnt get calls wether from a collections office or a "Scammer " office... js ... i get calls like this all the time for my ex bc he never paid his [***] bills like the loser that he is. if its on your credit report, or you recognize the debt - why not just pay it? i never understood that. everyone is so quick to call someone a scammer, yet u know u owe [***]? its funny to me. anywho. spoke to a woman, she was really sweeet - like i said it was for my scumbag ex who owes a ton in credit card debt, pdloans and even store cards. when you pay your bills, you dont get calls or you can simply show proof that it was paid. but if anyone wanted to pusue with civil legal charges, whoever owns chain and title of the debt, CAN do so.... best to just pay your bills and avoid it all together
- Sir Bedevere replies to lillyLilly, you need to learn to read: The people posting here don't owe money and yet they do get calls. This disproves your opening statement that "if you paid your bills you wouldnt get calls". Slam dunk.
So how did you come to find this discussion, I wonder? Just typing random phone numbers into Google? Or perhaps you're one of the people behind these calls?
Let's ponder for a moment which is more likely... OK, Got it. - oj replies to lilly| 1 replyLilly, you don't read well do you? Your comprehension factor is at the bottom also. Go back and re-read the posts here, then go sit in the corner and think...
