I received a text from this number on my cell phone telling me I had a Credit Union message alert.  

#1) I am not part of a credit union.
#2) Didn't state name of credit union.

I called back for the fun of it.  Its an automated system, and the name given was Metro Medial Credit Union.  It gets better, they say my credit card has been compromised and they need information to make sure I still have the card in my posession.  

I do not have a CC with that company or any other CRU.

After listening it says to enter your credit card information over the phone and if you give false information it is a punishable offense and they will report you to credit agencies.

So I had a little fun.

Exp Date: 12/ 09

It validated all information as correct and then went on about not giving your inforation out to anyone...blah blah blah.

same as above, got a text from them. looked very similar to actual texts my CU sends me. I verified the number my CU sends texts from, so I didn't bother calling these people.
