My husband received a call this morning from a private number saying that they would be serving us papers to appear in court regarding a past debt that has accumulated over $900.00. They gave us the 877-800-1268 ext 102 we talked to a gentleman named frank and he eventually got us to settle for 456.33 we only had 150 of that so we stupidly gave them our debit number and they stated that we needed the rest by monday. We immediatley called some sources and found out that it was a potential scam so we went directly to our bank and froze the account called the company we owed money to and we are currently in the process of investigating further to see if we are indeed getting served. I pray for anyone who receives this call. They feed off of the fear of people who have very little and alot to lose.

Do not take anything I say as legal advise for your situation.  Simply stating what my situation was and what was said.

Had these clowns call me looking for a friend today.  Claimed he was a process server with the court house of Norcross county.  Even gave me a case number.  When I got home decided to look up Norcross county and found out it doesn't exist and is a town.  He also advised me, that they got my number (a cell) from the court records.  Furthermore, neither the city nor county where Norcross is located have a case number matching that claimed to exist.  

I found it funny that as I asked him questions, he was typing to look things up, rather than looking at a physical summons which he claimed he was attempting to serve.  I also found it interesting they gave me a toll free number, I highly doubt a court house would do such a thing.  

Because of the abnormalities, I then looked up the number and came across this place finding out it is a collection agency.  I promptly called them and after complaining was transfered to a the Manager/legal department.  I promptly proceeded to let him know I do not appreciate such lies and those kind of tactics (lying) is flat out illegal.  Surprisingly, the "legal department" was dumb enough to agree those tactics were illegal and assured he would trace which of his callers called my cell. I promptly advised him it may be in his best interest to remove my number from his system or I would proceed to take court action if this happens again.  He agreed it would be removed to prevent any further litigation.

Do not be afraid of these people know your rights and be aware of what tactics are legal.  90% of the time fools like this hang themselves with illegal tactics that may entitle you to money.

These people call constantly and also from a local number, 703-921-2258.  They refuse to identify themselves and leave recorded messages for "Rahna and Raheem,"  individuals of whom I have no knowledge.

I have had this business number for almost 2 years and have stated that to them on several occasions, but they continue to harass me several times weekly, interfering with my work and interrupting conversations with clients.
