Called stating they were trying to reach me about a summons #Lies

This guy has called my son 2x and leaves this # for me to call with a reference # I call them he asks for my ss# I refuse he says then I cant help you, he is totally rude tells me I called them I explain that they are calling my son and left this message, we googled it and its a scam he tells me to stop yelling at him I was very calm I said Im not yelling do you know what yelling is? He says yes why don't you explain this to me so I yelled your a f______g A__h__e and hung up then blocked them. They tell you that you owe some  phone bill that you never had and try to collect from you

Got a similar call about my brother and stated that my number was the contact number given. Told the girl that called from 386-256-9079 that this sounded off and she kept telling me that he needed to call immediately but could not give me a reason as to why they had my information. Watch out!!!! The said it was a legal complaint that was against him.

I just got a call telling us to call 877-800-6027 regarding a civil case.  My guess is collections.  They might have got what they looking for with honesty not with sneaky tactics.

Got a call looking for a relative.  They gave us a case number and asked us to give the relative phone and case number to call - scammers!

Received a call today from a lady and she said to call so that I don't get served. 1-877-800-6027 case number 2201876.

Legitimate process servers do not call to warn you, or to get money from you to stop the process.  They will deliver the notification without warning.

Definitions, if you need 'em:
* A =summons= is an official notice of a lawsuit. It is given to the person being sued (the defendant).
* A =subpoena= is a court order. It requires someone to come to court, go to a deposition, or give documents or evidence.
* =Papers= is a word sometimes used by scammers, as a scare word.  Legal documents can be sent via Certified mail. A courier is not absolutely necessary, although  the Sheriff, Constable, or a Bonded Licensed Process Server might be used.  Such people will have appropriate ID.

My brother got a call from this number and was told to have me contact the guy with case number.  I called and he said that I owed a bunch of money for a cell phone bill that was never paid over 6 years ago.  I told him to email me any information about this and he told me he had none and could not send anything to me but then asked me to give him my card number so that he could withdraw money from my account.  HELL NO.  This is a huge scam.

I received a call yesterday from this # stating that i had an outstanding lawsuit against me and that i i owed over 600.00 to Sprint and that i needed to pay it now or they would take my house and my monthly checks and i they had me scared to death that they could take my house for 600.00 and my wife told me the # didn't even sound like a real # but i called it anyways she kept telling me to just hang up the phone but at first i wouldnt listen but when they said they could take my monthly check that is when i told them they were f...ing crazy i hung up on them but i fretted all day over that and now to find out it is a scam really makes me mad is there not something that can be done because they might just one time get someone with a bad heart or something and kill they seriouslly..this seems like it would be illegal  to do any ideas what i can or should do

They called my sister and told her there was a civil case against me from Florida. I called and gave them my "case number"'. They said they could not retreive the information but that the "case number" was provided by the courts. I ssnt an angry email requesting they stop harrassing my family to address on their site,  CDKassociates.net.

They contacted a relative of mine- told them that they had a out standing balance from verizon that needed to be taken care of. I called and talked to some guy names Chris. I told him I knew this was a scam and he freaked out and hung up on me. Don't even bother these jerks, it a scam!

Same scenario . Calls says theres a lawsuit being filed gives a date youll be served an case number. Lady called me an my husband .

A girl by the name of Bree calls my brother in law number asking for me - First clue that something was off because I have never listed my brother in law as a contact for anything. They told him to let me know that I had a legal suit pending and for me to call back - I just got off the phone with a very rude guy, first he was chewing on something while he talked with and than I asked hi information regarding this potential suit which he could not answer. I told him that I would wait to get served if I really had any suit pending because that is usually the process. He hang up -

When you call the number back, it answers as "CDK & Associates."  Go Daddy indicates the domain expired on 5/8/15 & is up for renewal.  Appears to be a scam.  File a complaint with your state Office of Attorney General, Consumer Protection.

CDK called me saying the a cival suit is being put agianist me for a Verizon phone account that's not mine I told them its not mine the reply was that I need to file fraud papers and they hung up on me, they need to be reported to the better B B and the attorney general

Got a call from a woman at 386-256-9079 informing me that there was a civil lawsuit pending against me and that I needed to call 877-800-6027 with a case number that she provided me. Before I called I typed the latter number into google and arrived here with you good people happily informing me that it is a scam. I called the number anyway and toyed with them a bit before letting them have it with full-on sailors' mouth.

What I want to know is how are they able to continue to do this with all of the documentation against them?

Got a called me today from a woman and told me there is a civil lawsuit file against me, she gave me a file # and asked me to called back at 1-877-800-6027. I called this number and they asked me for my SSN#. I told him that I need to know who is file the lawsuit against me first and then we can talk. He kept asking but I refused and told him that I will wait for the court order document. He got mad and hung up.

I had the same lady call my husband with a case # after reading all this I think its a scam. For one thing why did she call him and not me. Weird

Rebecca said she was a Process Server with a Summons for a Civil Case pending. Did not give any particulars to me as she was calling about a relative for me to forward a message. Left this number to call along with a case number.

OMG this just happened to me...same exact number and everything. They called my son, how they got his information IDK.
