Got a call at 8.20pm NO info I could find 6-23-2010.

The number you are asking about is Consumer Debt Advocate. [And even after identifying the company, I have been unable to find the original telephone number of 877-804-9670. I'm not sure where the company is located except that the number is a landline. And I called them from a TV ad and there is a www.ConsumerDebtAdvocate.com site, but the telephone number is different. Just shows you the tactics they use to get you to answer the phone. But, sometimes that is the only way you can get the calls to stop, because not all of us can afford "Caller ID." And by the way if you Block the number using *67-1 and the number they "Unblock" it so they "Know" what number you are calling from.

Two other companies that I know use this "Unblock" feature too:  Discover Financial Services (credit card company) and AT&T (the telephone carrier.)]

They called a friend of mine's phone and I called back. I had contacted them previously, but did not qualify for help.

Call them back and ask them to remove your phone number if you didn't contact them.

Telemarketers can call from about 9 AM until 9 PM local time Mon. - Sat. (per approx. 2003 data).

Some will call you on Sun. if you ask, but I've only had problems with one company rep. calling me on Sun. and it was someone I had contacted, but later ending up reporting to the company. And it wasn't really a Telemarketer, it was a mortgage co. loan officer, if you believe that!

Jimmy, and others I couldn't find the info. for this company on the Internet until they called back! And my friend had been getting calls from an "Unknown" or "Restricted" number several times last wk. so it was possibly this company. Good Luck getting them to quit calling you.

Consumer Dept Advocates, whoever that is.  They have been calling all of the time.  They woke me up this morning so I called the number back.  I think it rang maybe 1 full ring when some guy picked up and said "Consumer Debt Advocates, this is David-how are you today?"  I said I was fine but I would be better if they would stop calling me.  Immediately, there was no sound on the line, as if I had been muted and a couple of seconds later, the call disconnected.  Rude!  Hopefully, they won't be calling back though.

I'm calling every 3o min until i get a manager then asking tons of questions then reproting them to the better business bureau... jerks.

Stop calling from 877-804-9670  called twice to-day one right after the other you would think they would hve got the message the first time as I was not short on word telling them I didn't want or need their services

I started getting calls since November 1st.  I have added my name on the national registry in order to 'not receive' these types of unwanted calls.

Rec'd a call on my cell phone from this number - it shows they're from the U.S.A. - I didn't call them!
