i just had furniture delivered from IKEA.  it is the moving company asking me to do a survey.

I just had furniture delivered from Ikea yesterday, but since I didn't answer the phone and they did not leave a message, I dont know it it was Ikea or not.

thx people who put up a message - I JUST had furniture delivered from Ikea in the last half hour (Feb 24 2012) and then this number just rang me. Didn't answer, figured telemarketer. No voice mail mssg either.
I will say that delivery was excellent - they were slated to come between 1-5 pm but called at 10:30 am inquiring if earlier was possible (it was), said they would arrive in 20 mins. and they did. Friendly and professional. Was impressed overall (haven't had an Ikea delivery in some years and glad to see subcontractor for delivery still great) and happy that the rest of my day was freed up not having to wait for the later time.

I was left a message stating that I brought furniture from IKEA & would I participate in a survey. I did not buy any thing from IKEA in years............ The call was to my verizon cell phone.

Got this phone call two days after an IKEA delivery. As a rule I don't pick up unknown numbers, but it's probably safe to say that this was the moving company, since other posters have had a similar experience.

I'm going to go with Ikea, I just had a delivery, but I'm plagued with rob-calls, so I clicked this one off without answering. It would help if they didn't have a spam-like Caller ID.

I am getting a delivery from Ikea and received a call from this number.  The issue I had with it is that it says "This is XPO delivery calling on behalf of XPO.  Press 1 for English, Press 2 for French."  The issue with this is that this is the way that those scams start, where if you press anything they start to bill your phone.  Poor idea for a legit company to do this.

I did a reverse number. And once I saw it was for IKEA.. I knew then to call back. I don't ever pick up any unknown numbers. I had just an IKEA drop off.  It was survey asking if I liked the service. I did.

Yes, this is from the delivery company XPO, a third party delivery on behalf of IKEA and I have to say ridiculous! I had arranged and paid for delivery between 5-9pm Nov 2/16. At 7:30 I received a call from that number but missed the call. I called back & got nothing but a recorded message telling me to push # 1 or 2 or 0 for assistance. I pushed 0 and surprise, "please hold for a rep..." then it cut me off. I did this 3 times. Finally called back to IKEA and was on the phone with them just to confirm that the delivery was still coming. Spent 35 mins on the phone with IKEA because THEY couldn't get ahold of the delivery company either. Finally, yes, the delivery is still coming( in what I assumed was this century)!
8:30 I received another call from XPO again (which I answered) with a recorded msg telling me delivery will be made within the next 30 mins. and that I would receive another call after the delivery to partake in a survey. Well, 3 more phone calls later to IKEA & XPO, I finally got a call from the driver himself (which no one could seem to get ahold of in all this time) at 10:15pm saying they would be there in 15 mins., was I still willing to accept delivery? I said yes.... did not arrive until 10:45pm.
NOT happy with the delivery service at all. It's 9:00am and I just received the "survey" call.....I don't think the computer that records the survey can handle what I threw at it!

Word of advice IKEA.......get a new delivery company!
