Fundraiser and pollsters for N.F.P. e.g. NDP Party

They are a tenacious bunch. I have tried not answering in hopes their auto-dial system dropped my number.  Caledl the number and there is an option to have them remove your number. Say it can take up to five business days.

Called me 3 times in the last 2 days but the call never completes.  It just ends as soon as I say hello.

Same problem...they call daily, and then they hang up.  I assume it's something to do with the NDP, as I had given them money last year...never again!

This number calls DAILY and when I answer it disconnects.
I don't know how to make them stop.

The N.D.P. has called 10, yes I mean TEN times within the last 2 days. Even if I answer there is no response.  There is no option to remove our number.  ANNOYING to say the least.

The PC Party. They shouldn't be allowed to use telephones, period.

These [***] have called 3 times daily for days including Sundays.   What the heck can we do?    Does anyone know anything concrete about these people?   What is the use in calling people like us & hanging up when one of us answers the phone?   I don't understand.   I do not understand.   Someone HELP !!

calls from Conservative fund raisers

Been getting this call repeatedly on the cellphone.  this time a live voice was there and *claimed* to be third party calling on behalf of the 'federal ndp party' but only after I refused to automatically confirm and comply with their opening questions and demanded to know who they were and what they were calling about.

caller blathered about wanting to confirm people's support for the ndp and that I was an ndp supporter, right?  at which point I went 'eeeyah' and told them I wasn't discussing anything of the sort over the phone and hung up.  *if* this is a legit call from third party ndp pollsters or whatever, I'd still like to know how they got my name and phone number.

I would like this caller blocked.

You should block it yourself. Nobody here can block this or any other number for you.

Left me a voicemail consisting of nothing other than a full minute of breathing noises.

Call the number back, there is an automated message that explains the service. They also allow you to be removed from the list by pressing "1".

Did it, no more calls.

They just called me again and left another voicemail consisting of nothing other than breathing noises. This time it was just shy of two minutes' worth of breathing!

If they want to ask me for money, I wish they would simply DO SO instead of just sitting there breathing.

This caller, who is supposedly collecting for the NDP, is certainly not calling for that party.  He has accurate
information about contributions that individuals make to the party, but is not bona fide.  I would guess that the source is another "Pierre Poutine" without any party's approval.
