Don't know who these people are or care. Stop the calls you cowards!!!!!!

Had a call from this number today. Called it back, and the message on their answering machine states that it is Strategic Communications, and that they conduct research, fundraising, and advocacy work on behalf of not-for-profit organizations. They do have an option where you can be removed from their calling list, but as I called from a blocked number, I didn't use the option. Sometimes all that will do is confirm that they have a "live" number, and they call even more often.

If you call the number back after the initial message you can push 1 then enter your phone number and they say they will remove your number in 2 days

I've gotten about 10 calls from these people in a week. They never leave a message, and the one time I managed to catch them, they hung up on me right after I picked up. I called back and got the message Juanita describes about "Strategic Communications" (gee, THAT doesn't sound like a fly-by-night) and chose not to add my number to their list for the same reason. I hope I can find out what charity hired them so I can make sure never to donate to them ever...

They call twice a day every day... no message ... even when I pickup they don't.  Total nuisance by "Strategic Communications".  I called back and followed the instructions to remove my number "from this project" ... should be forever.

Calls and leaves a message almost every day - the message is always a few seconds of silence. One time, during the silence you could hear distant people in the background (like a call centre).

I called the number you gave, it is correct and told them to take me off their list which I believe they did.  Apparently they have faulty robo dialing machines that hang up on many of their calls.  Not a very good excuse.

so, i called 877-816-6992, waited for the message to end, when prompted to enter my phone number so that it could be removed within 2 days from their data base, guess what..... i am still receiving phone calls from these scumbags.

now i have this number on block, so the phone only rings once and it hangs up, but today, so far, i have received 4 calls, starting at 1. 3 calls starting at 4 pm, 5 pm and 6 pm..

dennis, any success by calling their other numbers and asking to have the phone number removed from the data base?

did an online complaint at CRTC today. will see if that proves helpful.

Strategic Communications is a call center for the NDP . Juanita is actually very nice . The call members for donations , I imagine.

They phoned at freaking midnight!!!!
