- John| 2 repliesNumber appeared on a pink letter that came in the mail. It stated that their records indicated that my mom hadn't gotten in contact with them to activate a vehicle service contract for her car, and that the letter was sent out to "ensure no lapse in warranty coverage" and that "expiration is based on mileage and age of the car"; it also asked her to call them right away. It also threatened her that if she did not activate said coverage, she would be at risk of being on the hook for any and all repairs once the factory warranty ran out. It mentioned that she still has time left to activate coverage as well as that no vehicle inspection was required to activate it. It also said that this was their final offer (although we haven't gotten anything from them before) and that this was their only attempt to get in contact. It also listed a deadline of April 17. At the very bottom the company's operating hours were listed. The envelope was plain white, but said "RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE REQUESTED".
At the bottom it said this in small print: "SAP - Service Agreement Notice is an independent nationwide company providing vehicle service contracts (VSCs) direct to customer. Final acceptance is subject to your ability to meet out full eligibility requirements. The administrator/Obligor [sic] of the vehicle service contract is Royal Administration Services Inc. 51 Mill Street, Bldg F, Hanover, MA 02319. This is an advertisement to obtain coverage.", although the letter came from "SAP Service Activation", based in Illnois.- Caller: "SAP Service Activation"
