- Andrew| 1 replyMy computer got stuck on a page, with multiple pages and I couldn't do anything with it and a it was saying I had to call a Microsoft Technician at that number.
I called it and was connected with Alex Costa. His direct number is 573-279-4570. His Employee ID# is MS4979.
He helped me get my computer going again but had to download an Ultraviewer App and do some other computer related tasks.
I asked if he had access to my computer and he said no. I had to leave for work and couldn't finish the process but it appeared to me, that someone had control of my computer. He instructed me to leave the computer on.
When I got back to my computer a couple hours later, someone was controlling my computer and trying to access my credit card app. When I got clse to my computer, whoever was controlling it, stopped, so I assume he/she could see me through my camera.
I immediately uninstalled the Ultraviewer app. - Pudge replies to AndrewBe sure you let your CC company, Bank, etc. know about this potential breech. Change all your passwords, immediately.
