Jury Duty scammer - claims you didn't appear and need to call back. If they gave a wrong name and you call back to let them know it isn't you, you let them know your phone number is active. If they give your name, they are trying to get personal info from you like DOB, SS#, etc. - Google Jury Duty scams - the court never calls regarding Jury Duty issues. They always send a letter if you failed to appear. US Marshall's and FBI have postings regarding this scam.

Message said a lawsuit is pending, gave a case number and said to call before further action is taken.  We called back and informed them they had reached the law offices of "made-up-name" and were put on hold for 2 minutes.  A woman requested information on an individual that was not at this number and when informed of such replied that our number would be taken of their list.  Sounded like a possible collection agency call...but not sure.

Some teenage sounding guy left a message about a supposed lawsuit. Massive scammers looki. To fish personal info. Reported.

I got a message also that said I had a lawsuit filed against me, and is pending, gave a case number and said to call before further action is taken. got pissed when I said I was going to give their number to the police, and even got madder when I said see you in court

this is the number on the caller ID 877-821-0848, Call back number 844-860-8408 CASE 345137 knew my name, last 4, my bankruptcy date

Someone answered the phone stating Mr. Green and when I asked him who I calling he refused to give me a company name.  I informed him I was calling him from a Federal Government Phone Line and the call is being recorded.  I then told him his threatening phones call to me are illegal and told him to remove my number from his list of numbers to illegally call and he started yelling at me.  Still refusing to tell me who he is or where he is only said he name was Gary Green.

I got the exact same call.

I would categorize this as threatening. He threatened legal action. Not cool.
