This was left as a callback number - call came from utah 801-961-9999. Says there is a complaint with my name on it & to call is i want to know what it is.
This is a scam - i've been getting calls with this same message for days from different area codes

rude guy wanted my social  said i owed the federal government and was being sued...I hung up

This call came in as a recording saying my very elderly relative's name had a complaint against it and to call to find out what it is about.  No company identification.

This number keeps calling my house. They are looking for someone with the same names as my spouse. I called to ask them to stop calling. They were extremely rude and ignorant. This is very wrong!

Like above reports, starts with a complaint against your name, and a number. When you call back, they harass you, try to get you to verify your name, address, and last four digits of Social Security number. Then they call you back, threatening court action with a sheriff name.

Someone called giving me this number to call back. They knew my name and the last four of my social. They said they were a mitigation company and that I owed restitution. They said I had been doing fraud with my account. I called the police and they said if I had committed fraud I would have to go to court. There is no mitigation. Cant owe restitution if you havnt gone to court. This is a scam for sure. The other numbers they called from or wanted me to call are all hobbiest numbers. They are as follows, 206-878-9939, 1-571-758-2530, 1-573-203-6158 among many more numbers. I should have know it was a scam because I don't do fraudulent stuff but It freaked me out so I had to check out.

Same here.....strange number, didn't answer.  They did leave a message stating there was a complaint...blah blah blah....Called from 415-802-2948.  Message said to call 877-821-1787.  Number is now blocked.

They called a left a voicemail stating that a complaint has been filed with my name attached and that I need to call back to get the information from them.  I have received several phone calls similar to this one from different numbers over the last few years.

I just received a call from a Malibu, CA number 310-579-6275.  They left a voicemail saying that a complaint has been filed against me and to call them back at 877-821-1787.  Needless to say I have blocked the number and won't be calling them back.

I received a call on my cell phone from 310-579-6208 on 7/30/15 at 10:43 a.m.  Called ID listed the caller as "No Name."  Same spam message ("a complaint has been filed with your name") but said the call was for someone with a different name (not mine) and to call 877-821-1787.  I Googled the number and came up with this site and will post a complaint.  There must be a way to find these scum bags and mete out the maximum penalty the law allows.

This company called saying that I had a complaint against me and stated my maiden name. To call back with number 877-821-1787. Then I called back and they said that I needed to verify information, and I said before I could verify anything I needed to know what it was in regards to. The lady got really silent and then when I was like "Hello, Hello" she just said yes, and repeated what the voicemail had said. I continued to tell her that I wasn't going to verify anything because she couldn't tell me what it was in regards to. She then said well since you cannot verify any information then I am disconnecting this call....GOOD LUCK IN COURT!!

Said the company name was Mediations.

Same as above got a call saying there was a complaint against me to call 877-821-1787 to find out what it was

This happened to me today. Got some call from 248-509-0770 from Michigan USA. They gave me some generic number to call 1-877-821-1787 and they were looking for "Daria Muzechenko" (not my name). I called back and they were asking me about the weather and what was happening in my state, I asked them who they were and they said "Mitigation" and I said "what is that?" he got rude and said "you know, mitigation" and I said again, "who are you?" he said "I can't go into those details with you" and he hung up.

I got a phone call from 877-821-1787.  they were asking for my husband at my cell number.
Very rude and wanted last 4 of SS#.  When I would not give it to her, she said we would be served and fight it out with the judge.   Scary.  But I read in the other posts that this is scam.
Hope it is and we do not get served.  Don't have anything that we should have a complaint about.

My boyfriend received a call from phone # 484-273-0078 that left a computer message for me with my maiden name to call back 877-821-1787.... Um haven't used my maiden name in 7 years AND why would you call somebody else's number... Really do they not think I'm going to look it up before I would even think about calling back

Pretty similar experience. They called me and I didnt pick up, but the message said something about Documents in a Complaint. I ignored it because I knew it was a scam. When you dont state who you are then it/you is BS. Then they started calling my house and my girlfriend picked up (Argggh). The person on the line said they were coming to my house in 3 hours. WTF is that about? The 877 number was referenced in the call, but the actual call was from Belmont NC.

Same as above. Number from Malibu  1-310-579-6275. I recommend speaking in a hindu accent. Tell them there is no one here by that name given and to please remove you of the call list. Most of these scams spoof(disguise) their phone number so the numbers are not real. good luck.
