This is a A**hole that is trying to "hook" onto your phone number so they can make free calls overseas while you get a nice FAT bill.I know!

Can you tell us more about this 'hooking'?  I got a call from this number yesterday, and got the tail end of what sounded like a recorded marketing call somebody else had just jung up on. "Thank you for calling..." or some such.

I have started getting one or two calls a day where it is the briefest of rings.  They hang up before I answer.

I have a business number ringing to my cell, so I can't tell which number a caller is calling (ain't Corporate telecom technology great?  The bad guys can make calls with blocked numbers to my phone, and yet the phone company can't tell me which number the caller dialled!)
