Left no message

Received call from 877-770-2853 to contact Syncrony Bank @ 877-822-7426 regarding my recently opened account @ CareCredit. I called the number listed on my account.  They could not find either number in their database, and they had no reason to contact me..  It is alarming because I did just open the account 1 week ago.

I had the same experience from 877-822-7426 . It might be a scam so just hang up.

Pretty much the same story - the female voice gave a name - sounded something like Kristoff but it wasn't clear so I returned the call - thinking that it might be a mis-dial and someone really needed the message.  I got a recording that indicated it was Synchony bank (or something).  I told them the name of the account holder did not belong to anyone in this house and refused to give them my name.  The phone number seemed to be the account number so they had that already.  Now I wish I had searched their information first.

I got a call on 2/27/20 from 877-770-2853 asking to call Synchrony Bank about my Care Credit account.  I called, the recording asked repeatedly for my phone # but did not proceed with anything else.  Then they asked me to call 877-822-7426 about the account.  After 6+ minutes, it just hung up.
