"Rick" called a local business trying to sell an" ad for a Back to School message" sponsored by "your local Christian radio station" and quoted a wrong call #. She said that wasn't the station she knew and he proceeded to ask of she knew about our ministry and said our name! Thankfully she called and inquired if we were doing this... FRAUD! Called authorities.....and called them back at this number to tell them they are attempting to defraud people and that they are criminals!

My assistants tell me he is very polite, but keeps asking for me to discuss an Invoice ??
We just received a Letter From The company Multimedia Sales and Marketing, thanking us for sponsoring an add on some radio station. and requesting we pay 110.00 invoice.
I have No idea what this is about. We don't advertise and we don't sell anything to anyone. We have never had need of a Radio station.
This is some kind of scam..

- NDnative| 2 repliesCalled and asked for owner, when told they weren't in, asked if I was one of the partners, when told I was, proceeded to ask for my name, wouldn't give it to him till he told me what he wanted, told me he's with the local radio station I've never heard of, I interrupted and said that our advertising budget is full for this year, started to hang up and he's saying it's not advertising... It's a lifesaving message! Started the spiel about he'll be telling his listeners that our business is reminding them to donate blood for accident victims and our soldiers returning home, etc... Then proceeded to talk about sponsors.
Wait. Sponsors. Give. Money. Hmm..... Told him not to call back.- Caller: KDSR Radio (SCAM)

- NDNative replies to NDnative| 1 replyGot called again today by different person, pretending that we were old friends, how's the family, etc... VERY unprofessional. Forgot to mention that last time these people called, I called my friend who owns the radio station and was told that they didn't know what it was all about or who these people were. Told this rude person just that and they were all "we've been dealing with them for 25 years! I don't know what's going on."
That's ok, I do! A SCAM!

- ManagerFor two weeks now a woman calls our office wanting to speak with our owner. I politely say he is not in today and she responds by saying she will call back tomorrow. The first time I let it go, no issues. Today she called again wanting to speak with our owner and once again he is not here for her to talk to. I ask for her name and if she would like to leave a message. She says, "No, I will try again tomorrow." Tomorrow is SATURDAY! Good luck on that one. The owner is hardly here M-F so best wishes getting him on Saturday! She refused to give me any information and refused my help. Little does she know I make 98% of the decisions around here.

- tom mTelescammer. Selling "sponsorships" for radio messages (advertising). I told him I Don' t buy advertising. He says it' s not advertising. I said "me paying you to use my business name on air is advertising. Don' t insult my intelligence. If you put perfume on a pig, it' s still a pig. Goodbye".
If they really want to sell something I might buy, they'd be selling call blockers. My business is mobile, so my landline is call forwarded to my cell during business hours, so standard call blockers for landlines won' t work for me. So I did this on my android --- Created a new contact in my phone book, added all the telescammers numbers as the new contact's "other" numbers, then sent all calls from that contact directly to voice mail. My phone never rings when they call, so I'm not bothered, but my call log records the call. They never leave a voice mail. My contact is named "Tele-scum", and now has 68 phone numbers listed.- Call type: Telemarketer
- kimchiThey ask for owner in VERY casual manner in attempt to dupe inexperienced gate keepers into putting them though. They only give first names, again, to imply familiarity with the owner: a bully-like attempt to scare the person on the other end into putting them through, or they may anger a friend of the boss. They even at times claim they spoke to them earlier in the week...
Just so you know, the owner they asked for is actually a former owner who has been deceased for several years, which makes it hilarious to me when they claim to have spoken to "him" recently... (also, he was a "she" with a gender neutral name)
Claimed to be with KLNG, a local christian radio station. You can hear about 50 other voices in the background.
Whether this company is legit or not does not matter to me one bit... their tactics are vomit inducing.
Stop calling!- Call type: Telemarketer
