Calling, says from KVSO radio station. Wants the business to advertise for October, (breast cancer awareness month). Told him, we were not interested, but stated that he had to talk to owner or business partner only.

Same thing. Wanted to talk to an owner refused to leave a name or the name of the business he was calling from. He even tried to threaten to call a competitor if he didn't get a cell phone number of one of the business owners!

Man calls, ask to speak to owner (says his name).  I say, he is not available, can I take a message and weird man says, "I thought he was there until 4:30pm".  I said, "um, no."  What a weirdo.  I screen all my Boss's phone calls - only *real* calls get thru so I will never let this dude talk to him.

Guy called and knew the owner's first name.  Said his name was Jason and he was a friend of my boss (his 1st name). I said he wasn't in and he said he would call back tomorrow.

Called and asked for the owner by first name, like he knew him.  I checked and the owner doesn't know who this guy is.  I googled the 877 number and found these posts, so I let him hold for a good five minutes and after that he said he would call back.

I got a call from this number and all I heard was background noise that sounded like a tv. I hung up and they called back. This time a guy asked me if I had just received a call and no one was there. THen he butchered the name of my company. I asked him who he was and he said"You don't recognize my voice?" Yeah, right! Well I told him obvioulsy I did not and he told me sorry for the interruption and hung up.

I've been getting these calls daily, too, and they never leave a message.  I don't pick up because caller ID says "unavailable"

Rec'd ph call from 877-826-2517, did not even bother answering. Recognized number given the numerous complaints.

Called to talk to the former President of the company.  Told him he doesn't work here anymore.  Asked to speak to his replacement.  I asked the nature of the call, and he said he was with a radio station that was doing a child abuse campaign in our area, and wanted to talk to someone about it.

Said his name was Rick wanted to speak with Renee. I told him that there was no such person. Then he demanded to speak to the General manager. I told him that he lived in a different state and that we were a corporation. He started scream at me that I wasn't listening to him or giving him a chance to talk. I told him to go ahead and talk. I slammed the phone down. He called back about ten times harressing me.

Caller asks for Ron.  When told he is unavailable the caller hangs up without saying anything.

I have called this number back and it says that it is a multi-media customer service mailbox and to leave my name and phone number and someone will get back to me shortly.  I have left messages warning them that I will turn them into the FCC for calling when I have a "DO NOT CALL" in place.  Doesn't seem to matter.  They continue to call several times daily.  Even when I have answered, you can hear someone on the other end and they don't answer you, the eventually just hang up.

Man in boiler room enviornment calls, asks for Robert, when I say,

"Robert Skoglund, what can I do for you?"

he hangs up.

I hear from him every month or so. Have put my number on the Federal Do Not Call List.

Got a call from 877-826-2517 AGAIN!  This happens DAILY!!! NO ONE EVER says anything on the other end, they just hang up.

We are a residence, not a business. We are on the "do not call list", but it doesn't seem to matter to this company.

I have left TONS of messages asking them to stop calling. They are causing a lot of stress for a disabled person in the house that tries to get to the phone when it rings.

In our book, their behavior is criminal. And I can't seem to get ANY help in stopping it!  (Oh, and call blocker does NOT work with this #!)

Rec. multiple calls and they hang up even before you answer sometimes.

I don't answer anything with 877, or 888 or even 800 unless I know the caller.  Unknown is a person who's calls I do not take.  thanks everyone for taking the time to comment

I just received a phone call from "Rick from the Radio."  He asked if the owner was in and I said no, so he said he would call back later and immediately hung up.  He didn't even give me a chance to ask who he was.  I googled the phone number that came up on caller ID and then I found this page of comments.  So I am guessing this loser is going to keep calling back now.  So I just won't answer the next time.

These are legit folks, under contract to radio stations and cable systems and some small TV stations.  They sell specialty ads, usually with a public service bend, to local advertisers.  I believe they are in Buffalo Grove, IL and have the name of Multi Sales Media.  They represent radio stations in all 50 states, and would only call a home, if it's a Mom and Pop business, like insurance out of the home, or other listed business.

You tell them you don't want any ads, and they leave you alone.  Pretty straight-forward.
