I just got the same voice mail, so I called them.  I told them to bring it on and I will be waiting.  They hung up on me.  I called back 855-303-5660.

called and said looking for my sister , left a number that i did not get but when you call the 877-826 -9760 , it says mailbox full and then erro , said his name is john lewis

I have been getting numerous calls and always during the day.  Not able to answer because of my job structure.  I tried calling back after work but got no information, just went to a voicemail with no name or anything.  This morning got another call and this time it was John Lewis.  He threatened me and said I needed to call a number 855-303-5660 if any information with regards to my whereabouts.  He said there was a formal complaint that has been filed.  If this was legitimate, he would have left the name of the company and the reason for the call as debt collectors are supposed to identify themselves and not just call with no messages and finally leave a message.

Why did you call them back, if you didn't recognize the caller ID and number?  If someone truly knows you, and it's important, they will follow up with a letter using the USPS.  The USPS is how legitimate companies operate.  Relax and stop answering the phone if you don't recognize the number.  Better still...get a call blocker.

I just received this same call from Phone#877-826-9760, threatening me with the authorities.  The bad part about it was it was my office phone.  I blocked the number

This number calls my aunts house phone every few days. We answered today and it was a Robo call wanting to know my mothers whereabouts and that contacting the proper authorities would be the next step. These people have called my aunt and my dads old girlfriend. This is clearly a scam.

They called me my ex-brother in-law and my ex sister in-law I tried calling the 355 number back no one answered and I couldn't leave a message they said they are looking for me because I have a warrant out for my arrest I just told the ex in-laws that if it was really true that they'd just come to my house and get me

Extortion scammer hard to hear, calling for authorities regarding a complaint against individual using recording for individuals name.

This # had my fathers voice. Unbelievable. Scary stuff like this is out there targeting people. DO NO ANSWER EVERYONE!

This is a scam using the actual voice of people that had been grabbed in the past and manipulating the voice to make it sound like a legit problem that a friend or family member may be involved with.

I was left a message regarding my son. if I have any information to call back because legal action was going to be taken against him. I called and a woman who sounded Jamaican said they were trying to reach my son. I told them I was him. I didn't care they are harassing me by leaving messages so I went along to find out what they wanted. She ashed me for the first 3 or the last 4 of his social. I told her I was not giving that. She then said you are not him I said yes I am. She said " You're a lying [***]" and hung up on me. This place is a scam. Any reputable company cannot question the persons gender over the phone.

Received a call from these bozos with the formal complaint crap.  Called them back and left a message saying I was filing a formal complaint and would be there to arrest them.

Called my two of my son's, my husband, my cell and landline # say a formal complaint was filed against me and if they don't report my whereabouts that charges will be filed.

📞 This number, having TOLL FREE CALL as the caller name, apparently called my fax line yesterday. Tonight, I noticed a message waiting on the answering machine attached to that line, so I played the message. The caller was looking for the person that apparently owned this phone line before I did. They must have some very outdated information because I've had this line for over 16 years now.

A transcript of the message follows. However, I've removed the name they asked for and I've replaced it here with, "(Wrong Name)".

My name is John Lewis. I'm calling today in regards to a phone complaint that's been filed against (Wrong Name). If you have any information as to the whereabouts of (Wrong Name), please contact our office immediately at 855-303-5660. Again, 855-303-5660. Our next step is to notify the proper authority.

I couldn't tell if this voice as a robocaller, but it sounded purposely distorted. Also, the voice speaking the target person's name was clearly computerized and different from the one leaving the majority of the message.

Given this call isn't even for me and I don't know how to find the person they want, I'm ignoring the call and I've deleted the message.

I received the exact same call as well.  They were looking for a Stephanie (forget last name).

Called my cell, same guy "John Lewis" was "looking for"...insert unintelligible name here from a robo voice. Same next step, calling authorities.  Blah, blah, blah.

Another BS scam caller. I'd love to find out who it really is and contact the authorities on them.

Sounded like a skip tracer. Switching back and forth between between two voices but looking for the brother of an ex-employee. Called from one number, call back number is a different one. In any case, hung up without saying anything and blocked number.
