I called my service provider, they said to text back with the words "unsubscribe". I was told there are no ways that they can stop this and I have to try unsubscribing myself. So, eventhough I did not want to reply I did text back with an unsubscribe message. We will see what happens. If this continues I will be calling my cell phone provider back.

It's an automated system asking for you to enter:

    (1) Your Account#
    (2) Activation Date
    (3) Pin#

It's a total scam and SHOULD NOT BE CALLED or any data entered. If you
enter false infor it will just ask for it over again. I have reported
it to the Credit Card Companies I use.

I know this is a scam, but what concerns me is that the messages seem to coincide with my shopping trips to King Soopers, are the scammers somehow able to know whenever i use my Sooper card?!

Got the same text as many others:

VISA "Pending authorization notification".  For more information please call 877-847-4003.  Thank you, Sooper C. U.

It's not associated with a King Soopers card I can assure you - I no longer live in Colorado and have not shopped at a K.S. in over two years; I just happen to still have a Colorado number on my cell.

I just received this txt msg on my cell. I also fallowed the link to the Denver Channel 7 new site and read the article. I still wonder how come the FBI shut the number down in an hour when the article was posted in march 2009 and we still were able to receive these msg.?

Most likely they are trying again to scam us. I tried the number but it is not in service.

Yes this is a scam.  I have reported to T-Mobile but unfortunately there is no way to stop these messages without turning off your service, the same way there is no way to prevent wrong number calls.  Do not respond or call, just delete the message.  :(

Yes, but I am still wondering how come they could reinstate this to-be-shut-off number from the FBI? Is there not a sorting system that should prevent the same company with the same phone number with the same criminal intent? If this is how the FBI works and shutting down phone number...wow. How many are there still out there? I just have to voice my opinion here.
