The Name of the Company says" 800 service", but the voice message says"they are from Blue Shield" and that it is urgent I call them right away.  This must be the second or third time they called.  I called them back but when I did there was a message that they do not recognize my number and that I should input my 10-digit phone number.  Sounds suspicious.  First of all, if it was really Blue Shield, the phone caller ID would have said so right away.  Secondly, if they called me why does their system does not recognize my phone number and wants me to input my whole 10-digit number.

I was told by Blue Shield this may be a third party to remind of yearly appointments and I had them put me on the no call list. We'll see if it works.

RJ, it won't work. I asked Blue Shield to stop the nonsense automated "reminder" calls last year. They still call. Time to dump Blue Shield.
