- Snowy_Owl| 1 replyI received phone calls regarding a free cell phone with call waiting and 3-way calling. Also with 300 minutes of free texting / talking from 9 pm to 7 am. Cell Phone was a Lumina Plus with a keypad similar to a computer keyboard.
The contact said his name was Mike Jones and he worked for Bell Sales.
He wanted my driver's license number and expiry date; my home address.
Mike then said that his supervisor would contact me to verify the information.
I then received two more calls to verify the information.
They told me that my new phone would be delivered in 2 to 5 days.
The activation fee would be a one-time cost of $35. There would be a $30 monthly fee and the contract would be for 3 years.- Caller: Bell Aliant

I called Bell and they confirmed they are scam, i called the number they provided me with and they are answering it as Bell Employee, again they are not, i have contacted The security Dept for Bell and reported the number given to me and hopefully they can locate them.
DO NOT BE STUPID AND GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION - kmciJust received is a total scam, called Bell Aliant and confirmed.
Fellow calling said his name was Peter Jones, with a very thick East Indian accent, which threw me off to start, unless he had changed his name it was a definite time to check up on it.
Do not give them any info, especially credit card info.
