This is Bell Canada internal sales. Calling to try and see you additional services. It's super annoying but if you ask, they will put you on their personal do not call list.

Another point: When you sign up for a Bell phone there is something they don't tell you. On your bill you'll see a zero dollar charge for telemarketing. Again, you have to call them and get it changed to "Telemarketing exclusion code" so you don't get any sales calls. Plus as you mentioned you have to be but on their 'do not call' list and their 'internal do not call list'. They'll even ask you if you want any sales calls at all. But it's not just sales calls, it's also the 'how was our service today' calls. That tin can with the string is looking better all the time.

Yep it is Bell.  I'm a Bell customer so it could be internal sales as other poster said.  I don't care about these calls I just put them on auto reject on my phone.  Don't even waste time begging then to stop calling you.

I have couple of missed calls from them, I don't answer because it shows US, aren't they a Canadian company?

The woman calling Oct 17th from Bell sounded like she was drunk or something, was really strange. I answered her questions so I could hang up faster.

Did not answer I do not want any more calls from this number.  I do not answer telemarketers they are annoying beyond belief

They called me over 30 times. This is MEGA-brainless. I have never seen such idiots. Even i am an the do not call list.
They are even calling in the night. They never heard from pricacy and keeping out of my house.
This is unbelievable ignorant and criminell.
Shame on you BELL CANADA.

Called hanged up more than ten times

I keep getting calls from this number..have talked to a person and they said they were representing Bell and wanted to know what TV programs I was interested in, etc....I told them I had a provider and they asking me for more information...finally hung up...they have called several times since....very annoying....

I have told you before don't call again I have the services I require.  I do not take telemarketer calls

Donna: this site (where you make comments) is NOT a Bell Canada site.  The idiots at Bell Canada do not read this site.
They do not read the comments on this site.
Instead, if you do answer their call, you keep telling the person (on the phone) "Put me on the no-call list".  Keep repeating that every time you speak to them. Don't say anything else. Keep on repeating it (they don't understand very fast).
"Why do you not want to hear our bargains?"
--Put me on the no-call list".
"But surely you want to save money?"
--Put me on the no-call list".

and so on (forever). They will eventually do it.

My personal tactic is to chat with them about anything. Once I chatted for ten minutes (they get paid by the number of services they add to a customer's account - no new service = no pay). In the end, THEY get annoyed and stop calling me.

I was away for 2 weeks they called a TOTAL of 84 times with no message left , picked up earlier today was BELL trying to sell me on a $99.00 per Month TV INTERNET and PHONE package that I already have !

We have call display and I saw that these people called while we were at work.  It is now just past 8:45 and another call just came in.  We are with BELL, have call display and do not answer any numbers similar to this one (eg. 1 800 etc.) nor numbers we do not recognize.  Let them call all they want.  Knock yourselves out!  You will never receive a response here!!

We are getting continual calls from the Bell Marketers.  Their number is 1-877-852-0526.  They call evenings, 10 am Sundays ... anytime!  All they do is say 'hello' ...'hello'...
Call Bell and ask to be put on their 'do not call list'.  MAKE SURE YOU GET A CONFIRMATION NUMBER and the first name of who you talked to along with what department they are in.  Keep a record of the date and time that you do this.
THEN IF THEY KEEP PHONING DEMAND A DISCOUNT ON YOUR BILL FOR THE HARASSMENT!
Even the guy who answered the phone at Bell Billing was trying to sell me more services while I waited for him to put me on the list.!!!!

THANK YOU!!! this was excellent info :) I called Bell and did as you suggested and was assured by the Supervisor   (I requested one) that it will stop immediately and she would call the 1877 number personally to ensure my phone numbers were removed.
I also always get their ID numbers should the issues not be resolved.

Good luck in gettng a discount.But it's Sunday afternoon here and I jsut got a call from them. Can't they even drop this on Sunday afternon?

Yep, called AGAIN today, Sunday 27th @ 4:45pm = NO RESPECT MA BELL !!!
Wish we cud call their employees @ home on Sunday to harass them !
Anyway, ENUF IS ENUF = Rogers (& others) have sum great New Year's deals, so will ditch Ma Bell ASAP (after 50+ years !), due to their greedy attitude, constant telemktg harassment & lack of respect for their (previously !) loyal customers !!!
