That's a good question. Noticed my wallet missing in late September. Found it a day or so later, by my car, on the ground. Almost everything was there, so, since most of it was there, I didn't think there was anything wrong. Recently, I discovered that my card had been charged $3.95 by this number on 9/29/08 for something called FASTMELTS30. I've tried to call this number to clear up the sitiuation, cancel the unauthorized charge, and, hopefully, get back my funds, during what they say are their business hours. You're put on hold, and nobody ever answers. I believe that it has something to do with a package that I got in the mail, with no company name on it. Inside the package was a TRIAL of EXTREME ACAIBERRY MeltAwayTablets, again, with no company name or address on it, only a phone number, 801-208-7485, on the back of the bottle. I've called this number as well, to clear up the sitiuation, cancel the unauthorized charge, and, hopefully, get back my funds, during what they say are their business hours, but, again, you're put on hold, and nobody ever answers there either. Additionally, my account was just overdrafted $90.02 on 10/13/08 by a number 877-361-8604. Yes, you guessed it, I called the number to clear up the sitiuation, clear up the sitiuation, cancel the unauthorized charge, and, hopefully, get back my funds, during what they say are their business hours, but, yet again, you're put on hold, and nobody ever answers that number either. My conclusion is that this is company is involved in some type of credit/debit card scam. As such, I've contacted my bank, and already cancelled my card. Additionally, when I checked online for the 801 number, it produced tons of negative scam type responses from people who actually did order their products, but were never able to reach these people to cancel their orders.

This site, referencing 801-208-7485, provided the best help. I contacted a number listed there, only to be told by a mortgage company that it was the wrong number. However, they told me that, if I opened the envelope containing the product, there should be a flier enclosed with the product that would have the correct number on it. So, I opened the envelope, took out the flier, saw the correct number, 1-877-350-8480, which I called. I was put on hold, but the call was picked up within 15 minutes, and I spoke with Jennifer (Agent # 63372). She cancelled my order, gave me a cancellation number, told me where I could ship the unused intact product, and suggested that I have my bank call them tomorrow regarding the veracity of my claim.

I have tryed to call this number because they charged my card $89.31 instead of the $3.95 for shipping and handling. They say 14 day free trial but they charge your card 3 days after they ship item. Beware of
FAST Melts 30!! You call the number and they tell you your call can't didn't go through or a busy signle. I called the number that was on paper inside the envelope 1-877-350-8480 to get my money refunded back on my card and the samething.I had to cancel my card because of this. I have reported this to the FBI internet scam department. If you Google 1-877-350-8480 you will see a number of complaints. Anyone having the same problem  you need to report this to http://www.fbi.gov/ and then click on Report Internet Crime. This is a scam compny advertising on MySpace.

Same here, I was quite surprised to see -89$ on my card a few minutes ago.
I have a question: I'm French so I'm not really used to the banking processes, so how do you cancel your card? Do you go to a branch of your bank, or call them?

Call up your credit card company and tell them there's a fraudulent charge to your credit card and that you want to dispute it. They will take care of the rest. They will probably ask you for information about the charge, stuff to confirm that you're really you, etc. Credit Card companies and banks are generally very willing to help in situations like this and fight credit card fraud since it impacts their business.

No call was received.  However, a credit card that I have not activated was charged $89.31 at Fast Melt in Utah on October 22.  Very FRUSTRATING that there are people out there using a card that has never been activated.  I reported this to law enforcement and they are investigating.

I didnt get a call from them but like others I did sign up for the "free" bottle of some health berry (why I dont know)and was only supposed to pay for shipping and handling. I was surprised to see a charge for 89 bucks on my credit card. I have now received two bottles and imagine I will have to continously be on the watch for these charges on this card from now on....geez I should have known.

I keep getting a call from some man which sounds like part of a recording stating they are trying to reach Ramona Napier.  I have received numerous calls from this person, different number each time because I keep blocking the number.  I am not Ramona, do not know a Ramona and will not call back.  They state it is about a claim.  Scam of some sort.

I received at least 3 calls from the same robot sounding man about a claim. I know this is a scam, there was no name left for a company. These people are just scammers, but it is very frustrating that they are calling my work & cell number. I will not be calling them back.

Today at 11:29 am I get a call from +1 (877) 891-5207 leaves a robot message. At 11:46 am I get a call from +1 (877) 859-1069 and the exact same message is left as follows.

“This message is for NAME OMITTED if you are not NAME OMITTED please hang up now and disregard this message we are handling a claim in our office please know your claim number please press zero to speak to her representative or call us at 877-8591 06 volume __ that number is 877851069 thank you…”

The person they want is my son, but the message refers to him as a female. Ironically my daughter received the exact same phone calls today from the same numbers at the same time I did.  Neither of us called back, as this same number called both of us about a month ago. I called back then and I don't even have to tell the lady on the phone his name or a claim number. She asks if it's for xxxx and says his name. She says he ows a debt from 2010 and she sounds like somebody from India. I just hung up, so I don't know what scam this is. In 2010 I had the same cell phone number, but in 2010 my daughters cell phone was a different number, so there's no way her new number can be associated with her brothers debt.

In making a google search for the phone number 877-859-1069 this number in 2008 was associated with a herbal weight loss scam where credit cards had been billed full price instead of just the shipping and handling price to try the product.

Scammers.  Says they are from GAFS. These people called me on my cell and work number. They claim to be a debt collector, only I have excellent credit.  I seem to recall the same call a few weeks ago, where they called my sister telling her I owed money, they are a debt collector, etc..  My sister was frantic.  I explained to her that it had to have been a scam. Today, when they called me at work, I asked for their business name, the young woman on the phone said GAFS. I asked if that's an acronym, she said not, they were a debt collector. LOL. Anyway, I  told them that the call would be recorded, so she  hung up.  I called them back and asked for their business license number before I provide them with any information. They hung up on me again.  I called back, and thankfully,  I happen to have had my sister with me who is a police officer.  She said she was a police officer, and that they needed to provide us with their business license number, the guy who answered laughed and said, hold up, I need to verify who you are.  Apparently, they can trace blocked calls.  Needless to say, he proceeded to laugh and I hung up.  They called my work number back, which is a federal number, that was their first mistake, they said you are the woman that called us, so I asked for their license number again, and he said it's 123456 then laughed.  They are in for a rude awakening.  They contacted the wrong hit.  We are on this like files on you know what.  I reported them to the federal trade commission, the state attorney general's office, our local police department, as well as my work's in house police dept.  They are able to trace locations to call.  Apparently it's coming from Washington DC, or at least that's what we have so far.  So if you scammers are reading this, watch your back!
