Something pertaining to the abduction/whereabouts of a missing person, and that they would proceed to notify the proper authorities if you do not call them back.

My cell automatically notifies me of an AMBER Alert via SMS, so it's obviously a bogus call.

Telling me they have a complaint

Saying they are looking for a person about a complaint and saying if I have any information to call them and they will alert the proper authorities

Told me the same thing, complaint about me. Mumbled my first name twice.

I feel its a scam.

Guy left a message stating they had a global complaint against "ME". Asked if I had any information as to "MY" whereabouts, to contact them. And they would refer to the proper authorities. I better get a move on!

left a message for me to call them back to give my location or they would need to notify the proper authorities  if I don't call them back. What a horrible job they have to make those types of phone calls! I'm so scared! (NOT!)

same experience, caller left message saying a complaint has been filled against Kathy Terry, and that I should call them with info about her whereabouts. SHUH

Called and asked the whereabouts of my sister and if I had any information to call them, they would also alert the proper authorities.

I received a voicemail from John Lewis at (877) 859-1070 also. He claims that a complaint was filed against my sister, etc! I called them back twice. The first lady hung up on me when I asked several times, what type company is this and the official name. She gave me "GAFS" as the name. I called back again and asked a couple of questions and when she couldn't identify the number, this lady hung up also! You can file a complaint with the FTC at "ftc.gov/complaint" and also make sure that your phone number is registered on the Government "do not call registry."

Same as the above. Looking for me to be turned in to the authorities.

Some chucklehead that had my old address - as in 10 years ago, my job from 9 years ago 250 miles away, and a bank account number that closed in 2010... stated that apparently there was some fraud affidavit I had signed.  Couldn't even pronounce the city right, but stated it was for a total of 1055.  Now at the time I couldn't remember the banking information (I contacted my bank afterward to verify).  But threatened to send me documents for an appearance in their court system.  Until I receive a summons, here, hold my effin beer mate!

Received a call claiming to be authorities requesting info on a family member whereabout or a formal complaint will be made then hung up.

I posted earlier that John Lewis at phone number: 877-859-1070 left a message regarding my sister. After calling the number again and asking if they were a legitimate company, the gentleman rep explained in so many words that they are debt collectors. The person they reference in the call has an outstanding or delinquent account.

As i recalled the only association with that family member's name was that one time i sent a walmart to walmart money gram 2 months ago.
Only once . Maybe some how that is how they got my number?

Received call from John Lewis about a complaint to and to call with information about my wherabouts. Scam. Got same kind of call a few years back.

Has called 3 times each time sounds like a machine talking cant even say my name right but there is a formal complaint in my name and will be turned over to authorities if I don't call them. Apparently they say the same thing to each person and if it is a debt collector not a good way to get payment

My daughter was called by someone with the above phone number. They left a message stating that a formal complaint was filed against her brother. If she didn't return the call they would turn over whatever they have to proper authorities. This was very upsetting to my daughter and if I could get my hands on these people, well they would be able to make a complaint for sure. Its all about the $$ when you call them back. Scabby scummy Scam all the way!
