The same thing just happened to me. The number has been busy all morning.

I got scammed with the same thing.  I got charged 89.31 as well!  Huge scam!!!!

Received an unordered bottle of Extreme Acai Berry Melt Away Tablets in the mail with this phone number on an overly Xeroxed form letter advising to cancel within 14 days or be charged $89.31 for a 31-day supply.  Teh number on the paper is 1-877-350-8480 and I get a recorded message that they are experiencing "unusually high volume" at this time.  My Credit Card statement shows a mail/phone order (not by me) for $3.95 from SEARCHVITAMINS with 877-859-1109, which I called and got the same message with the same voice about experiencing "unusually high volume" at this time.

Same as the above, except I got someone to finally answer, about 2weeks ago, the person I spoke to on the phone said, I would be reimbursed but it would take 14days. I said thats the soonest I could get reimbursed, as I never wanted a full month supply, I ordered and prepaid for the trial bottle. She then said, okay I can get it reimbursed in 5-7days, its been well over 14days and nothing yet! I have been called 3x's an hour and get that high call message, or somehow get disconneted, or placed on hold forever, then disconnected.

Just noticed the charge on my cc also, I was charged the 3.95 shipping, never recieved anything and then was charged the 29.99 for a months supply which was refunded by fit factory, their number is 800-660-8489. Now the 89.00 charge by search vitamins, I have also been on hold today and then they hang up. My bank has been notified and is going to dispute. Hope the fit factory number hels someone else.

I just received a charge on my account as well for $89.31 for something I did not order or get for that matter.  I called the 1-877-859-1109 and did reach a person.  I was told that I did indeed order the extreme acai berry, which I did not.  After much arguement, I was told my money would be refunded within 14 business days.  If this happens to you stay persistent and keep calling.  The person I spoke with would not give me his last name or the name of the company.  I found that odd.  Total scam as far as I am concerned.

I am so very frustrated too. I have experienced the same problems as the rest of you! A $90 charge for something that I cancelled a few weeks ago! That is a lot of money to some people. I too got the $1 charge, then the $29.95 charge that I did not authorize. When I called Fit Factory about the $29.95 charge they said that it said on the website that I would be charged that. It absolutley did not! I would have NEVER signed up for it had that been the case. I specifically read over the entire website to ensure of this! At any rate, after calling and disputing this transaction profusely they did credit my account the $29.95.  Today a $89.31 charge showed up on my account from a company called SearchVitamins and like the rest of you the number eventually disconnects me after holding for about 10 minutes. I called the original Fit Factory number to see if I could get somewhere with them, and of course, I did not. They told me they do not handle customer service matters! The lady then gave me another number to call (801-208-8735) and of course, this number rings a fast busy signal. I am going to my bank today to see if I can dispute the charge and get my money back that way. I hope they will do this for me.

I got ahold of both and the Accu Berry says they will refund me on "the next billing cycle" The Colon Clense said it will be refunded today.

Praying it is right!!  Hope all works out well for us.  Oh, and NO, there was not place saying I would have to cancel.  Imagine that!

I called the 877#, noticed this charged just appeared.  Spoke to a Hanna!  She canceled the pending shipment and voided the charge 89.31, then canceled the subcription.  So lets see if all this really happens.

I just looked at my statement (thank goodness) and noticed two chargets for the www.fit-fac.com for $29.95 ea.  

I went online and found their number 1-866-407-1022, the sad thing is that they have an option that says "If you are visiting this site because of an unrecognized charge on your bank statement, please click here."  How sad.

I talked to Gary and he cancelled both but only refunded one.  They are quite helpful.

Then I called the other number 877-859-1109 for the $89.31 charge and got someone right away, thankfully (I called at 3:15 California time).  Zyra was a little frustrated with me but eventually cancelled the order.  She said that they charged me on 11/22 but I told them my bank said it was 11/24 so they probably have yet to fufill my order.  She checked and said they haven't yet, so I asked her to cancell that and issue me a refund.  It should refund in 14 days.

I will NEVER do another offer again.  Lesson learned, eh?

I have been trying to call the phone number listed here, and another that i received: 877-350-8480, but both have just stayed on a busy signal. I have disputed the 89.31 charge with my bank, so i hope i can get that money back. this is the second time i've been charged, but i let the first one go because i didn't read the fine print. I've been trying to call ever since and can never get an answer.

I just noticed that the sponsors of this page are ads for a free acai berry trial gotta love the irony in that folks.  

I too got the 89.31 charge that the company is refusing to refund but they did cancel my subscription.  I then called my credit card company to dispute the charge and to change my account number so they cannot charge again.  I am now in the process of filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission/Consumer Protection

I suggest that everyone else do the same thing.  The Feds will investigate and hopefully shut these people down.  I'm thinking that it is probably a matter of time before someone starts a class action lawsuit against this company and others associated with this scam and less than ethical business practices.  I'm sure Oprah and Rachel etc have the money to fight these people in court for using their names but the rest of us don't have that option. So contact the FTC at the above link and FILE A COMPLAINT TODAY.....

If you go to their website and click on contact us at the bottom they have an online chat..I waited an hr to finally "chat" w/i someone and they cancelled my order you can then print your online chat as verification that your order/membership has been cancelled and you will be refunded.

Yes, it happened to me too!  They charged me 89.31 too after the 3.95 that I was initially charged.  I was furious and called them at 877-859-1109 to cancel and demand a request- I would not take no - we have a no-refund policy- for an answer and they finally refunded my money- lucky for me the charges were in pending still and then after the phone call the charges just vanished. They are also affiliated with another company that will charge you 29.95 too- it is fit-fac- call them too and be just as demanding (866-407-1022) OH, and don't forget to get a confirmation number for the refund!!! GOOD LUCK!

I too received a charge of 89.31 and am on hold, hold, hold. lovely music.   the fit-fac 29.95 said they would refund my money.  I have a dispute on file with my bank.

I fell for the $3.95 S&H charges. I called before the 14 days were up and they took $89.31 out anyway. I called 10/31/08 was told to give it 7 to 10 business days and it would be deposited back. Waited till 11/20/08 called again. They said they were sorry to give it 3 to 5 business days. Still nothing. I called again on 12/01/08 and talked to a lady that says she's sorry to give it 24 to 48 hours. I waited till 12/04/08 and called that evening when I got home form work. I got a young girl and she said that it had been processed and deposited on 11/21/08 I siad No it hasn't cause I'm looking at my account online. She said yes it has you will have to call your bank. Ok I did that and they said NO it has not been deposited. I called back AGAIN. I talked to someone else. She said it was processed on 12/01/08. I said this is about the 5th time I have called. I WANT TO speak to a manager. Manager got on the phone and she began to tell me it had been processed. I said look I am tired of the run around. If my $89.31 is not deposited back into my account by tomorrow, I am calling the Better Business Bureau, I'm calling the News Media and my Attorney will be contacting you. She said she would take care of it. I reinterated once again what was going to happen if my money wasn't there. 12/05/08 my money was deposited BACK INTO my account. They most certain are SCAMMERS.......BEWARE
