It block my computer

My husband fall victim of this scammer. He called the number thinking that it was Apple Care and they were able to access his computer remotely. They convinced him to give them his credit card number in order to "install" software that will remove a virus. Thank God our bank detected the fraud and declined the charge. If your computer is still blocked, call Apple Care directly and they will help you. We just did it. Make sure to call the right number by visiting Apple's official website. Good luck.

Hi, I was sure this was a fraud, so I didn't follow up like Than's husband (so sorry!), although I did take a screenshot when it happened, which I'll forward to Apple for investigation. There was a second attempt last night, also from a cloudfront.net address. It is cleverly set up with a loud, alarming buzzing noise and the computer locks up. I simply shut my computer down and restarted.

I called the # thinking the same thing, that it was Apple Care. They had remote access of my computer. I even gave them my credit card number.  Luckily my bank declined it.  TOTAL SCAM.
