Called and left no message. Scary.

Called and left no message again! Very Scary!

every week we get this call on our landline, stating this is an urgent call, and I have called back to take care of an urgent issue. and the message gives us an ext to use, yet nothing there I can't even block it on my land line to stop these calls

Robo-called a third time! Left garbled message about a reference number. Very Very Scary!

they have left a message on my answering machine every Tuesday for the last 14 weeks straight, counting today; message is just a series of digits I have no idea what to do with; they don't say who they are, what they want, or who they are trying to reach, or if someone is even supposed to call them back

They called again. Have they no mercy! Have they no honor! Scary!

They have called every few days for weeks. I pay all my bills on time so if they are trying to collect something they got the wrong number.

Lady's voice starts like message in play with..."RS please call 877-864-3001 and use reference number...then the spooky dude voice from unknown worlds comes on and in a baritone, monotone voice  states "9xx7777xxx" whatever.  I dont pay any attention to it - just delete from my messages.

This company is Portfolio Recovery.  They have been harassing me as well.  They are trying to collect a debt from someone who has the same name as my husband.  The middle initial and social is different but they still keep calling and we have an A+ credit rating.  They do not care because our number is listed they just continue to call.  I do not know if it is a scam or not but it could be.

Excuse me.  I meant to say this company is Capital Recovery.  I do not see a way to edit or delete so I wanted to make that clear.

I am reporting this for my Mom and all I know is they keep leaving messages on her cell phone and gave her a reference# to provide them when returning their call.

It appears that this outfit collects government debt which is not covered under the FDCPA.  You will need to contact them to clear this up.

They were a collection agency. They said I had a parking ticket that was not paid. It was in a city I have never even been to before.

It is possible that the ticket was written in a way that makes it look like your plate.  You will need to contact them to clear this up as I previously mentioned.

I finally answered, and the computer lady says “this is CRS, you must contact us at 877-864.....”then I hung up.

They took a vacation from calling. Now they're back! By far the most persistent unwanted calls. Beyond Scary!

They call several times a week and let a reference number...we are a business and also on the do not call list.

they have been calling for over aa year. No idea what rhey want,but since I suspect a scam,I do

not call back. Police tell me nothing I can do.
