DID apply for a loan with my well respected bank, USAA, and got this call 2 days later. Kind of concerning the timing was so well thought out. SCAM

I received a call from Jessica with the loan approval team asking me to call this number to provide more information specifically on my income. It said to mention application AH7345**. I haven't applied for any loans. The call came from (502) 824-1062

Definitely, I did not answer the call and, when I hear the message, it was from Jessica saying she was processing my loan, and she said on the voice mail, I am looking forward to getting this wrapped out for you. I'm just needed to verify your income.  Talk to you soon. Thank you.  This is a spam, please be careful and make sure do not reply to them back.  Firs of all check with google the phone number.

I just got this on my other cell, this time coming from a Colorado area code instead of a Florida one, with the exact same wording, which I notice is somewhat different from the copy-pasted voicemail transcripts others have posted. Copycat scammers??

Yes, I received that same "Loan" call today.  Same loan number.  Blatant!  Original call was from 972-944-4336, though.  Same callback number.

Called from 970-595-1207 (Eckley, CO) asking me to call back at 877-867-5139 about a loan I never applied for.

Received a call from "Jessica" from the loan approval team.  I have not applied for a loan.  Phone number given was 877-867-5139.  Loan number AHZ34578.

Call came from 725-323-2708 (Las Vegas).  Jessica left message to call back at 877-867-5139 to wrap up my loan.  I didn't apply for one.  SCAMMERS!

I got a voicemail from Jessica with same message as everyone. Needs income info for loan application

“Hi , this is Jessica from the loan approval team . I'm calling regarding your loan inquiry almost finished processing your loan but we need to verify a few details specifically about your income . Please return my call at 8 7 7- 8 6 7- 5 1 3 9 ideally before 5 PM Pacific time today when you call mention your application ID is an apple ages in hotel . See you in zebra 3 4 5 7 8 again that is an apple ages in hotel Z as in zebra 3 4 5 7 8 . My number is 8 7 7- 8 6 7- 5 1 3 9 and your application ID once again is 8 8 7 3 4 5 7 8. I'm looking forward to getting this wrapped up for you. Talk soon thank you.…”

Caller left message they needed to verify my income for a loan I never applied for. Call came from 917-264-1830 call back number given was 877-867-5139.

Received the following message from 1 (970) 722-3832 about a loan I have not applied for.

Hi , this is Jessica from the loan approval team . I'm calling regarding your loan inquiry . We almost finished processing your loan but we need to verify a few details specifically about your income . Received a voicemail saying they need to confirm details about my loan application.  My credit is frozen, I've never applied for a Loan

Voicemail left for me regarding needing additional information to approve my loan, including my income. As with several other commenters, I did not apply for a loan. The number that called me was 502-824-0015 and this was not a robo call or automated voice.

A [***] in need of money called Jessica call. She is your loan processing team.
I feel so sorry for her all the effort and time she put in and get nothing in return.
