These lowlifes keep calling me, I just let it ring, and ring, and ring, and ring. They only have my work number as far a I know. They won't see a penny from me. Best part is  that I made arrangements to pay them just to give them hope before never answering a call again.

My husband received a blocked call from this company MP Group.  They told me that my husband was going to be served with court papers and about how much he would have to pay on top of the amount he already owed.  I never told this company that my husband was my husband, my husband and I don't have the same last name, but they told me if I just spoke with him and made arrangements with him, then I could just take care of his debt.  WTF  I tried getting other information about the debt which they were only too happy to do, and I told them that we would contact them back.  They gave me the number 1-877-871-3919 and the guy would only tell me his 1st name. TODD, and with the extension 301.  I asked him what if I didn't have the extension, he just told me not to loose his extension number, that way I can talk to only him.  I have tried looking up the info under MP Group and all I can see is construction info.  Who the hell are these ppl.  I, unfortunately, was already scammed by another company a few months back by another group LMA.  Good luck to everyone.  I was told not to worry about it at this point.

The probably is that when they call they don't even mention who they are and where they are calling from, the only specify that they have a pending case against you and you need to call them right away to find out who they are calling and harassing you for.  Does anyone actually have a full address and name of the company or collection agency other than MP Group. as someone says when goggle you don't get much at all.  The might be a scam. Who knows when companys call I know that if legit they tell you who they are why they are calling.  And they can answer any questions you have for them. These people are rude and when I called back It just keep ringing and ringing.  And this is suppose to be a legit company I don't know about that.  But I did ask my attorney to look into it. I will get post any updates that I might have on them.

I got a call from someone named Dillon Murphy from phone number 716-247-xxxx. He left a message on my voice mail at work and said for me to call 877-871-3919. He said I had one and only one chance to make the call! So I called. They said it was a process server trying to serve papers. I asked why he would be calling from a Buffalo, NY number to a state about 900 miles away. The representative (Tom, at ext. 301) said he didn't know but that they call from their personal cell phones to give a courtesy call that they are serving papers! He kind of stammered. He couldn't even tell me the name of the person who was supposed to be serving papers (I didn't tell him it was Dillon Murphy). I asked what court it was in and he said he didn't have that information either but that if I didn't come up with over $900 today then I would probably have to pay $6000. Then he put me on hold again and came back and said not to bother trying to call the cell phone of the process server because for safety reasons they use spluce cards??? to disguise their phone number and they can make the phone number say anything they want it to say so it would probably be a dead number. I did call the 716 number and it isn't a dead number. It went to someone's voice mail, but the person didn't identify themselves. ANY information anyone has on this company would be greatly appreciated. They are MP Group. By the way, all of this took place before they even tried to identify if I was the correct person they were looking for!

I got a message instructing me to call their 877 number, they sent me a verification of debt e-mail, I printed it out and brought it to my bank... Apparently it's legitimate, maybe just a bit unprofessional. I settled out my account for 70 percent so I saved money (although my credit score probably took a hit) anyone know who trains them to do their job? It's a legitimate company, just filled with monkeys. My lawyer advised me that I probably could have settled for less. They did provide me with the credentials necessary to prove they were legit otherwise I wouldn't have paid. If they call you ask for a VOD, if they can provide it they are legitimate

Yes I got this message saying I have this one opportunity only or they will send a summons to my home or work. They didn't even state name or company name. Just gave me this 877-871-3919 number and a case number.
I don't know anything about this. All or any debts I have come in mail and I have legit info on them. Please let me know any more information have and what does VOD mean?
    Thanks!

VOD, means validation of Debt letter.  You can either ask them to cesist and desist all calls coming to your work place or home and than ask them to provide a VOD letter and move on.  Actually, I still trying to find out where and who they are.  Maybe we can ask the other guy who says they made settle with them to pay off 70% of what he owned if he has a so called address on these ppl.  I sure can't locate one and they won't give you no more information they what they want you to know.

Since you seem to be the only person on this post who may have actually seem to have contact with these people who are they and where are they located. Because I want to personally write them a cesist and desist letter, and my attorney is also interested as well.  I personally don't like threats and it makes me very angry.  Where exactly are they located and who are they.

Yes, please, if anyone has the address of this company, please post.  They called a family member and told them I was going to be summoned.  I called them to ask for a company name and address.  I was given the name MP Group but when I asked for a mailing address the man on the other end started saying he could not hear or understand me and then I was disconnected.  I want to write a telling them to stop the calls but I need an address.  thanks so much

I got a call from these people and was told i was going to be served papers too. I asked what court it was from and was told they couldn't give me that information, but that it was for check fraud and misuse of funds from over three years ago! I knew it was a bunch of crap because he told me if i called right away it would keep me out of court, which they dont have the authority to do. Supposedly this company is located in Beaverton Oregon, thats what i was told by the caller.

My Wife got a call from these folks tonight.  First of all they got her first name right but the last name was not even close.  Oh, and did I mention that this female "Jane Fisher"  was trying so hard to be rude and intimidating.  We tried to call the 877 number with no answer.  My read, is that "Randy" probably works for them trying to validate and throw everyone off the trail.  These Phishing, cheating [***] will stop at nothing to rip you off.  If found, they should be "drawn and quartered".  Just my opinion :-))

Well she (Jane Fisher) calls me also not telling me who they are or what they want. Just everyday telling me this is my last opportunity to settle this matter or they will serve me at work or at home. Well if this was my only opportunity then why do they call me everyday telling me the same thing. It seems to me that I have many opportunities. Did anyone get served at all from this place?

These morons called me about a year ago trying to tell me they were going to serve me. I asked why would they call to warn me they were going to serve me and they had no answer. Then I asked what it was they were calling about and they said it was for some loan I took out 4 years ago against some bank account I had but I had closed nearly 10 years before. I have NO idea who these people are, their tactics are illegal if they are really debt collectors and you can have your lawyer files charges against them if you can figure out who they are. After I told them I needed to talk to my attorney they stopped calling but they started up again this past week. Seriously, don't let these people intimidate you, don't pay them until they give you all the proper information like the name of the company requesting the payment of debt, addresses, the dates of the debt and their name and their name of their employer and/or supervisior.

I also asked where they were located and got the run around and then they wanted me to verify my current address i told the person on the phone that if they had a summons with my name on it then they should know my address also,I informed them that I was going to contact my attorney and they became rude and hung up in me, Like everyoneelse I would like to know who they are and where they are located infomation my attorney would like to know also.

I also received a phone call from these ppl on Friday at work while I was gone.  Dylan Murphy told me to call the 877 and it was my only chance to pay up a debit I owed before I was going to be summonds with a warrant for my arrest and to collect was is due.  If I did not call my work would be notified and would be served at work.  Well wait a min am I being arrested or am I being served at work?  WTF.  These guys have no idea how to collect or to even collect in the right manner.  They can go to my home address I don't care because they have the wrong address.  I am tired of getting these phoney phone calls at work.  I would like an address on this company so I can give it to my attorney to further review.

apparently these a holes have my ssn and that makes me very uncofortable.  they know too much about my personal info, but if i have learned anything about scammers is that they r desperate to get money from me at that moment. that always gives them away.

p.s. they tried getting me to give out my account number. hahahaha that will never happen
