Did you receive your gift card yet?  I received a call and I wanted to make sure this is not a scam before I call back.  Did they ask you for any personal information?  Thanks!

Just got a call yesterday from Barbie, she said the samething on the message she left.  I tried to call back both numbers no answer.  I think it's a scam or something, remember never to give out person information over the phone, like you SS#, Birthday, banking information.  These people don't care about your life and will take it all.

Just got a call from Heather about winning a $1000 online shopping spree/gift card.  I am not gonna waste time calling back.  I'm sure it is a scam.  How do they get our numbers?  They called my cell phone.

I got a call on 8/14 from 423-272-9174 and I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. A woman named Heather left a message saying I won a $1000 online shopping spree and to call their customer service at 877-875-2099 to claim my prize using my claim number she gave me.

I called the number on 8/17 and customer service said I won because I have a Visa card. They asked me to confirm my phone number, but that's not too personal to me, and they clearly already have it, so I confirmed it. Then they just asked how old I was and if I was employed (for demographic purposes, I guess) and said they'd mail me the info in 3-5 days.

So... I dunno. Seems to good to be true, but I didn't have to give them any personal info. I'll just wait to see if something comes in the mail, I suppose.

    not an idiot
My bf got this call, didn't give out any info and they said they would deposit money into his bank account and I could tell it was sketchy so I called both the numbers and asked why they were scamming people, one lady hung up on me and the second one proceeded to explain how it was not a scam in a not nice tone and I told her it was bs and hung up. Helps to get some frustration out, but yea if any of you are wondering if its real, assume it isn't.

Received this call the other day, as a voice message. I called back and told them the 'claim code' they gave me. They said I had to sign up for some sort of magazine service, and I asked if I could pay for it through the gift card, which they said will be there in 3 days in the mail (another claim code for online) so they had to process it that day. I gave them a visa number, no security codes though. We'll see. Sounds really fishy/ lady told me they were out of tennessee. Hm.

UPDATE!!! After reading numerous complaints about this company and general dissatisfaction, I called back asking to further explain the whole magazine deal. they continued to lower the price for me, but I said that if this is legitimate, it should be free. I finally asked if she had the capability to simply 'undo anything that had been done today, including the apparent $30-40 to my card, and she said 'yes' but then in an very frustrated tone 'but for future reference, whenever you give out your credit information you are either making a purchase or validating to make a purchase on schedule'. Psh. I knew that from the beginning, but she said originally that it was only for 'verification that you own an account'...
Also, Before all that, I asked about the shipping on the items on the winners page for the gift cards. She said that it was not a shopping spree that you've 'won' but as a selected person, you can choose for items that have already been paid for and use your 1k as a 'credit', you would have to also pay for shipping on any items directly from out of pocket. She said the shipping wasn't ridiculous, but I could not see any numbers to trust or calculate.

Hopefully that will clear over without any issues, but man. There is enough there to say that this certainly looks, feels, sounds and even smells like a scam. I wouldn't do it again.

I wonder if that code they sent out will still end up in the mail, lol. We'll see.

Fortunately they did actually cancel the Payment. Still no shoppers coupon though. Definitely Scam. Avoid. I'd love to schedule a meeting with these guys in person and really show them what I think about the whole program. Jerks.
