rec'd call from andrea at Alliance One (collection agency), she knew my name and the correct pronunciation, said I must call her back at ext. 6440,  she did not say why,  I have no outstanding uncollected debt

Do you have any utility accounts that went postdue after you moved?  They handled alot of those accounts.

A call from my electric company, Stream Energy reminding me that my bill was due.

I need your company to cease and decist calling me! it is againsts the law to call and harrass me or anybody! I do not owe any money and I have never been with Stream Energy!

tHEY WERE CALLING ATLEAST, TWICE A DAY, AND SAYING CALL WAS IMPORTANT FOR MY WIFE, AND NEVER MENTIONED WHO THEY ARE. THEY WANTED US TO CALL BACK ON THIS NUMBER, AND EACH TIME THEY CALL THEY GIVE DIFFERENT EXTENSION #. IS THERE ANY POSSIBILITY TO REPORT ON THIS ABUSE. THEY ARE CALLING ON MY CELL PHONE. This number called me at least twice a day for weeks and weeks asking for someone that doesn't live at my home. I finally called them and told them to stop calling me.

I only found out the company is Alliance because I called them directly. They did not identify them on the recorded message.

receive at least 2 calls an hour with a recorded message finally. most of the time no message to call alliance one. I have no idea who this is or why they are trying to collect a debt. Want the calls to stop.I'm about to loose my job, they call so many times.

I Have been receiving phone manny calls for over the last month or more requesting a person (specific name given) who does not live here and never has. The call is computer generated and starts with if you are this person to push a number (3 I think), If you are not push 4. All that happens when you push 4 is it starts all over again. I finally called the number(1778-888-1711) and the person on the other end hung up on me when i tried to explaine the had  the wrong number. I called again and the next person was extremly rude when I told her that the have the wrong name and phone number for this person and I wanted the calls to stop.

Message from "Alliance One" calling for "Hector Baldy" (there is no one by that name here and we have had this number for 10+ years).  Said to call back 1-877-888-1711 x640.  I called back (to cease the daily messages!) and was blocked from their calling system.

ask me to call her back for checking debt issue. also said this is very important matter. so far haven't called her back.

I spoke to one of my friends from my previous job. She said someone from that number had called me and asked her for my home number. If this was a collection agency, why would they not have my home number instead of an old work number? I haven't worked there since March 07.

Someone from this number has repeated call my home number. I have told them on more than one occassion that the person they are looking for is not at this address and has never been at this address. I have asked them nicely to remove my number. The last time they called and left a message, when I called them back they told me to disregard the call. The agent told me that they only can look up people based on the amount, and the name. Their records do not appear to be very accurate.

I just recieved a message from them.  Someone named Tanya Jackson at x. 6559 called me and asked for me to call her back, "I look forward to a return call".  I called back and the voice message said "Thank you calling.  Your call is very important to us..."  So, who is "us"?  I'm not calling back.

Received computerized messages for people who don't live here.  Could not understand the names.  Called back and told them to remove this number from their system.  I don't owe anyone and my name is neither Georgia nor Stephanie.  I spoke with a very nice woman who agreed to remove my number.

TOLL FREE CALL-CALLS AT LEAST ONCE A DAY STARTING APRIL 2008-DOES NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE-THEY DO NOT LEAVE THE NAME OF THE PERSON THEY ARE CALLING FOR.WITH ALL THE RESOURCES AVAILABLE I CANNOT BELIEVE THESE COLLECTION AGENCIES JUST LOOK UP THE NAMES AND CALL THE PHONE NUMBERS.THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF NAMES THAT ARE THE SAME ALL OVER THE COUNTRY.THESE AGENCIES SHOULD HAVE MORE INFORMATION TO GO ON NOT JUST NAME AND PHONE NUMBERS.WASTE OF TIME AND RESOURCES PAYING THESE PEOPLE TO CALL THE WRONG PERSON.VERY UNPRODUCTIVE JOB.

Don't answer the phone when they call get it in writing if you owe a legitimate bill.  Then correspond.  You know this Alliance One has called my house and the recording mentions a name.  They also for reason call my work but think it is because I called back to see who it is.  I think there is a law against this.  They have called my house twice today and work twice.  Go to Clark Howard the consumer advocate website and read on these agencies.  It is www.clarkhoward.com  Type in Collection Agency in browser. It is good.

I received a letter on the mail from AllianceOne telling me that Scana Energy (My already closed account) referred me for owing them $59.08.  They are asking me to either send them a check or give them my CHECKING ACCOUNT information for payment.  Oh! I can also arrange a direct debit from  my checking account. The 1-877-888-1711 is listed on the letter.

they call all the time.  I have no money to pay.  I tried blocking and writing cease desist letter.  Since I wrote the letter they call even more now.  Blocking does no good.  They have too many numbers.

My call has to do with Capitol One.  I have never confirmed or denied that I am the person they are looking for.  I did send a letter asking that they do not call.  What else can I do and please do not say pay.  My payment history was excellent for years with them and then hard times set in.  I do not have any income now and have applied for over 100 jobs how do I stop them until I get back on my feet
