I've been receiving from this number 877-888-8888 couple times a day during the past weeks.  Very annoying!!!!!!

Got three calls in an hour this afternoon - no response when I picked up once - based on information on this website, this has been going on since at least July 2007 - doesn't anyone know who this is and can't something be done about these and other phone jerks ?

they call looking for Latasha, that's not my name. I ask where they got my number from and the line goes dead.

Repeated calls from this number.When I call it back no answer. Surveying me about my job. The scary part is they know where I work and they new how to contact me even though the phone isn't in my name.

This is not an actual number - it's something that people use when they want to hide their real number, since they are calling people that they know is illegal for them to call.  For me, recently, the 1199 SEIU union has been harassing me, ordering me how to vote, and they have recently switched to spoofing this number to try to hide so they can't be reported.  Many other companies do this, too, since they are illegally harassing people, and they don't want to get punished for it.

received a call 3 times today, went to this site and found that in 2007, the name The Kramer Group was given when people asked who they were. I googled The Kramer Group and found that in Tampa Florida, there is a health care group http://www.kramergroup.com/. They are using a call center which is the reason for the dead air calls. Those people don't care if they speak to you or not, all they care about is the number of calls they make and the number of pick-ups which is the reason for the dead air. They have hung up by the time you pick up but the call is registered as being made and answered.

Called two times this weekend.  Didn't leave a message the first time, but asked for our teenage daughter by name the second time.  When I wouldn't put her on the phone, the woman hung up.  I wish I knew how this benefits the organization calling everyone.

They have called me 3 times in the last 24 hours.  Very irritating.  I have yet to answer because I don't answer numbers that I don't recognize.  No message left.

They called twice more today. So that makes 5 times in less then 48 hours.

I also get calls from this number at least once a day...I have never picked up the call because if I don't recognize the number, I never answer them. But it is still nusance to have to check out the number every time they call.  This has been going on for months...haven't they go the hint by now that we aren't going to pick the darn phone up.  I am also on a do not call list...why isn't it working.

I get this call almost daily.  I do not answer these kinds of calls, but I am getting tired of my phone ringing unnecessarily.  Is the Do Not Call registry not working?

Am now getting these calls for surveys.  HAVE TOLD THEM I DO NOT WANT TO BE CALLED AND THEY HANG UP.  When dailing the number to tell them to take me off their list, I get a recorded set of tones, like the phone company used to have, with a grainy message that "the number you have reached 926-4333 has been temporarily disconnected" - can I find out whose phone that is?

They called and asked for my 5 year old daughter, but they used MY last name (she has her father's last name).  When I told them I was her mother, the woman said she would just call back.  Then, I told her that she is 5 years old, and the woman said AGAIN that she would just call back!  For a 5 year old!  I asked who she was calling for, but the woman hung up the phone on me before answering.

Here's an idea.  Get a whistle and the next time they call, blow the whistle into the phone.  Hopefully that will get them to stop!!

They call my house 2 and 3 times a day - well today I answered the phone and they asked for my husband by name - I said he was not here and they hung up.  I told my husband never answer this number or any other 800,888 or any other toll free numbers.

This number keeps calling me and I dont answer it b/c I dont know who it is. it happens several times a day and im getting pissed off about it. I've heard that if you pick up the phone when they call and play the disconnected number recording to them that that might work. I have the disconnected number recording on my PSP and the next time these [***] call im gonna play that to them and then hang up. this is getting out of hand so I encourage other people to record the 3 beeps (SIT Tones for a disconnected number) onto your answering machine before your greeting and maybe that will stop them because most telemarketing calls are auto dialed by computers. try it.
