Called to request my support for a bill to increase children's health care.

i get calls from this # at the same time 2xs a day. if i answer, it's dead air.

Most rude of rude.  Tried to get me to do some new credit card.  Some bottom feeder, minimal wage flunky who could barely speak English hung up when I asked who they were.  Wish the govt folk would get on their case.  They call about every other day.

I am getting 3 to 4 calls a day.  When I answer, dead air. Annoying

This number calls me everyday, but noone ever speaks.  Its really agitating to have someone call your home, and then have the nerve not to say why they are calling.

This number calls me multiple times a day at work and i don't get anything but dead air for about 20 seconds then the call is dropped.  It is so irritating!!!

They called wanted to put me through to my Senator to tell him to vote for some child healthcare bill.  I declined because, even though they had numbers of children with no health care, they did not have numbers as to how many of those children are illegal immigrants.  

They did, however, specify that the money for this would come from the increase in the cigarrette tax increase.

The call showed up on caller ID.  I called number back just to see who it was - no one answered - just kept ringing.  I really get tired of these kind of calls.  Does the "DO NOT CALL" list that we put our number on not work?!?!?

I get a call from this phone number 1-2 times EVERY DAY...when I answer, there is dead air.  I return the call, but it just rings and rings...

The above 877-888-8888 is a nusance caller who call 3 or more times daily. Ehen checking the messages it is dead air for 5-10 seconds and them is is over.

I have been receiving several calls from that number on my cell phone.  It is atleast once a dya if not two times a day.  When I answer it is dead air for about 3 seconds and then it hangs up.

Woman called, asking for my wife.  When I asked who was calling, I had to have her repeat it, but I think she said the "Policy for Quality Care".  I told her my wife wasn't interested (she wasn't home), and hung up, and immediately reported it to DoNotCall.  If she dares call again, she will be read the riot act.  I doubt she'll be around long.

Get calls from this number at least three times a day.  Usually don't answer and end up with a 20-second blank voice mail.  Answered it the other day and was given some line about them being an advocacy group supporting extending health care to uninsured children.  I asked to be put on their "Do not call" list and was told they don't have one and don't have to have one.  I then asked if she was directly employed by the organization she was representing and she said "No, I work for a call center."  I then told her that under FTC rules, since she is calling on behalf of the organization (whose named she garbled and never repeated), she is not part of an exempt organization and must respect the Do Not Call registry and maintain a "Do Not Call" list.  At this point, she hung up on me.

They have been calling my house every day for weeks, and I am already part of the do not call registry.  When I tried returning the call, there was no answer.

I get 2-3 calls from this number a day.  Mostly dead air - once I got a reply and it was in a Spanish language and I couldn't understand it

We are a property management company in Lincoln, NE and these calls started earlier this week 7/16/07.  Same as everyone else I answer, no one there and then goes to disconnected status.
