I got a charge from Search Management 6/24/08. I googled the number and found this site. I have closed out my visa card and disputed the charge. I have not had any unusual purchases, just my regular companies that I commonly deal with.
I didn't receive a phone call.

Same thing on my Visa. Talked with Fraud assistance and they informed me that the Visa Card had to be cancelled. Theres another SCAM on my card as well. Shows up as NAPSTER for $1.

- credit card hit with charge above.
- No idea who this is.
- Googled and found this site, & made us very worried.
- We do get several telemarketer hangups per week. But Caller ID does NOT show this #
- Called the # and only get the suspicious recording asking for OUR phone # and name. (we do NOT leave a msg)
- Called VISA & Credit Union to lodge complaint and report as fradulent.
 - I'm assuming we will get a credit for the $9.45
- Sadly, neither were interested in pursuing/investigating/punishing the merchant/vendor even after citing this site.
- Sadly, we were only recommended to cancel the credit card and get a replacement re-issued.   (which we did that same day)

Got a 9.55 charge on a credit card I hardly ever use - dated 7/2 - this is a Chase CC and I disputed the charge.

Funny i been getting calls every week the automated massage askes for "Cleo Mitchell" and that they are a dept cellector i am not that person so i never boter to call back

This is definatly MERRICK BANK, they will call forever. Got calls from them for a year now. You have to say WRONG NUMBER, that you just moved in and the phone company gave you this number as of TODAY, they will STOP.

I check everyone of my Credit Card Statements each month.
There was a charge of $9.55 on my statement from Search Management.
I don't know who these guys are and most of all I did not authorize this charge. Therefore, the credit card has been cut up and my bank will re-issue another card for me. I tried calling the phone number and got some automized answering machine. To date, they have not returned my call.

I had the same exact thing happen with my account and the charge was also $9.45.  I am checking with my bank to see what they can do.
