My mother got the following message in her browser. This is obviously a scam. Do not call the number:
Your Computer is infected with an adware or malware causing you to see this popup.
This may happen due to obsolete virus protections.
To fix, please call Apple Support at TollFree 1-877-902-6828 immediately. Please ensure you do not restart your computer to prevent data loss.
Possibility of Data & Identity theft, if not fixed immediately.

My husband received this message too - I am a Mac tech - this is NOT an Apple number, nor would they use the What's App to send a message of this type.

We received this message too following trying to load a mis-typed address in Safari.  Smells bad.  Thanks for this site to collect thesese

Same as Dennis said above.  I inadvertently got to this website:  https://d3eemwvwdsa3qv.cloudfront.net/index.html  Then the fake warning popped up.  Scam.

Same issue. This could be scam, i guess. Apple support does not have this number. Don't call or give your personel details to that number. Just call real apple support number for your country which is noticed on the apple support page.
