I made a payment to Barclaycard  UK over the phone using my PC MasterCard. One minute later this number called and left a message telling me they were the Fraud Dept. I called back and confirmed it was me that made that payment. THIS IS LEGIT.

Got a call from this number this evening. Good thing I answered! As others have said, this is the PC fraud department. I had a $542 fraudulent charge made this evening. Very prompt response from PC, and I'm very thankful! My card has been cancelled and I will be receiving a new one in the mail shortly.

Received a call that went to my machine. It left a message where the part where it says your name was garbled. Called them and it as 100% a credit card scam. They asked for exact card number and security code and exp date.

I called the number on the back of the card and PC Mastercard confirmed 877-939-3933 is from the security department.

Yes, the number was PC financial fraud department. Grateful that they proactively alerted me to suspicious activity on my card and launched an investigation. Thank you PC!

1-877-939-3933 called May 19 2018   11:55 am My wife asking me but not opened the line so when after that delayed i opened the line, no answer, likely they are on a computerized picking number so they move to the next to call.  Any one in here, says, that this number it is LEGIT,   " i bet 100% they are crooks, same as the number  877-939-3933 " . Fact: No PC calls, FACT,this number nowhere in any pc card , Fact: Only naive believes anything anyone tell them, TAKE IT FROM ME "IF IN DOUBT STAY OUT" If you do not know about DO NEVER talk to them - if they need you they will do a proper way such as send you letter. https://www.yellowpages.ca/fs/1-877-939-3933

I got a voice mail from this number saying it was PC Financial MasterCard calling about recent activity on my card.  They asked I call back at 877-939-3933 or to call the number on the back of my card.  I called the customer service number on the back of my credit card and they confirmed that 877-939-3933 was the number of the PC MasterCard fraud department.  They then transferred me over to that department.  This is not a scam, someone had gotten hold of my number and tried to charge a few thousand dollars to my credit card.  None of it was put through because it was flagged as suspicious.  I do a lot of online shopping and this is not the first time my card number has been hacked from somewhere.  It’s a bit of a hassle having to wait for a replacement card, but nothing compared to the mess I’d be in if the fraud wasn’t picked up!

Got this call. Called the number on the back of my card. A transaction was flagged and my account was frozen. They just needed verification that an auto renewal transaction was legit and then they released the account. Still would recommend to only ever call the number on the card.

First call I declined.  Then I read all the above reports.  I called PC mastercard at the No. on my card and received confirmation they had called.  Call was to verify that I had made a largish on-line purchase.  I had and was pleased to confirm.  PC Financial is red-hot at catching suspicious transactions and I am thankful!

It’s the fraud department number

C'est le département des fraudes de mastercard qui m'appelle pour me dire qu'Il y a eu une transaction frauduleuse sur ma carte. La dame m'a nommé mes dernières transactions et a bloqué ma carte pour me protéger. Je vais en recevoir une nouvelle dans les 4 à 5 jours.  La même journée de la fraude, j'ai donné mon numéro de carte de crédit par téléphone à ma pharmacie pour la livraison de mes médicaments. L'employé a répété `mon numéro, peut-être que des clients l'ont entendu, peut-être qu'il a écrit mes informations sur un papier et l'a jeter au recyclage et que des fraudeurs ramassent le recyclage des pharmacies. C'est peut-être aussi un employé qui a volé ces informations.  On est en période de pandémie, plusieurs personnes font livrer leur médicaments pour ne pas avoir à sortir.

I got a call saying call this number that’s it’s Zions bank so how is it PC financial. I don’t even have an account with Zions bank. Also when you call the number it asks for you to enter your 16 digit card number. There are no other options. I would be hesitant and not call this number sounds like a scam to me

rec'd a   ROBOT    call   from  this   number  at  8:06 am  ( saturday )   ,  eastern  standard  time.....

some    female  computer  voice , with a    british  accent   leaving a  message   about  my   "  security"   issues  on my  PC   card....................WHICH I  DO NOT  HAVE   !!!!
