Play them.  Tie them up so that they cannot scam anyone else.  Try to drag it out as long as you can.  Get as much information as you can.  You can pre-make false information to do this.  Report the numbers that they are calling you from.  Make recordings if your state allows single party notifications.  Do everything that you can to give the Federal and State Agencies as much information as you can that will help them.  Cases like this take time to build.     Unlike TV they are not solved in 40 minutes.

I have had over 42 calls in a week from the same. Each call is from different area code and number but same message .  Sarah and underwriter from the approval department. One with name Sandra with the same message but she says its Google.   I have sent repeated request to FCC for help to stop these hourly calls.  My phone carrier  Verizon, no help at all because they are not USA assigned numbers.  I'm 72 and at my wits end.  Verizon said changing my number will not even help.  If anyone reads this and gotten help please post.

Same as everyone else. I block the number and they just call from a different one. More than 20 calls per day! I’ve called the number and screamed at the person telling them to remove my number from their list.

I've been getting 10 to 20 calls a day. Its a shame the phone companies aren't doing anything about scam calls. Internet numbers should not be allowed at all. I think i may name my next kid Sarah as that's all I hear all day long. Ahhhhhh

I hear ya!  I don't know if we'll ever be able to stop the "criminal element" from using technology to advance it's craft but we can at least "slow it down."  Here's some advice from the FTC on minimizing the nuisance. Cheers.

Actually they are, but since it requires changes to their infrastructure it will cost them money (reducing profits of their share holders), so they are doing it as inexpensively as possible and as slowly as the regulators will allow.

So, because of a few scammers abusing the system, you think that all the legitimate businesses and individuals that use VoIP technology should suffer for it.  No doubt your solution to speeding drivers would be to ban all cars and trucks from the streets and highways.

Oh, please do, that way whenever she or he (you did post "next kid") discovers why they received that name, they will hate you forever (he will probably hate you well before he even learns the reason).

This number calls us 8-10 times a day and 2-3 times every weekend. This scam is masked by multiple phone numbers and leaves the 877-941-1106 at the end of each voicemail, but the number is always disconnected. Again, scam caller. Do not call the number back.

Same message  - Sarah, an underwriter from the approval department.  MULTIPLE calls a day.  Usually three in a row back to back.  Each time leaving a message.  All from different numbers. Try to block but it is not helping. My phone marks it as Spam, why won't it just block it!?!??!  So annoying!
