tired of calls for some that hasnt had this phone number in 1 year 3 months

It is a sales call. It is the "Enhanced Collections Division" of the Riverside County Superior Court, but they are not a government agency. They offer payment plans when you are ordered to pay large fines or fees in court. Just received an automated call from them.

Just got a call from them and called them back. It is the California Superior Court Collections Division. My call was in error. Someone gave my number instead of their own.

That number belongs to the Riverside Superior Court - Enhanced Collections Division, we are not an outside collections agency or a non-goverment agency as Laura said. WE ARE THE SUPERIOR COURT!!  Enhanced Collections is a division of the courts...@ Terry we are not sales people.
If you receive a call from us is because a fine is owed to the courts and we're attempting to collect. If you do not know the person we are asking for simply return the call and let us know.

Why don't they do the honorable thing and mention what the call is for?  Give us some info.  Most calls are scam artists these days.  I've been getting called by this number and do not owe anything.  Sad to see our government act so shady.  True, there are lots of dirtbags that don't pay their fines but the government shouldn't be harassing innocent people using some disguise.

If they would leave the name of the person they are supposed to be trying to get a hold of that would help.  Keep getting calls all of the sudden and don't owe anything.  Very ineffecient system.

I got an automated call and called back.  They were trying to contact a name I've never heard.   She said someone gave out a phoney # in order to not pay a fine and they would remove my #.

How difficult is it to extend the recipients of your calls the basic courtesy of leaving a voicemail? Why in the world would anyone answer their phones to numbers not in the phone address book in modern day America... that's why your number gets posted on multiple websites like this. Behave like an adult with adult manners  and you will be treated in kind. Act like some cold caller and you will again be treated in kind.

You obviously have the wrong number in my case, I have never been in a court case in America, let alone California where I do not live.

First, I do not live in Riverside county nor have I ever had a ticket in Riverside.  For me, the court in question would be San Bernardino.  I had two past unpaid tickets:  one in San Francisco and another in Claremont.  Both were paid with late fees.  I do not have any outstanding tickets and have not for about a year.  These calls started popping up recently and fairly regularly.  Now I suppose that someone may have used my number in lieu of their own--I will accept that as a possibility.  If that were the case, how do you suppose I manage this (aside from blocking your number with my smartphone?)  What are the repercussions of me continuing to ignore these calls?  Seems to me that the information on the ticket should be your base for address information, personal identification and all that rather than that of some scumbag who just happened to pick a random number that belongs to me. I don't think it's fair at all that I get these calls on a regular basis.

Just received a message also, doesn't state a name,  says to reference my phone number...really?    And I owe nothing, have no tickets etc.. oh but go to epay-it.com to resolve... How about sending me something in writing first, my address had been the same for 13 years. ...crooks!

I keep getting collection calls from this number for someone  other than me!  

I had the same problem, looking for another person who gave out my number instead. They were kind and removed my phone number as a contact for the person they are trying to reach.

Been getting these calls speratically for about a year or so. I have been rolled up on riverside. But ain't on their [***] list. Don't have any beef. So good luck to trying to get some money out of this girl. Lmao just keep drinking my beer and eating my cheetos and ignoring Ur fake [***] calls. [***] grimey ass scammeys. Get a real job!

Just got one of these phone calls and i can say with certainty last ticket I had was 17 years ago and paid in full. Stop bothering me. And if you really are a court employee. Why the attitude towards these innocent people? Perhaps it be a good idea to discuss it with the powers to be and get this issue resolved. Your boss is causing the inconvenience not the other way around. BTW I just arrived BACK into the country after being abroad for over 10 years and boy have things changed.
