Got hit with 221 dollar

Total scam...phone number appeared on my bank transaction with WU 185 Berry S amount stolen $201.99

Got hit for $221.99 and another transaction for .33 cents the day before.  Did not get a call or see anything suspicious until my bank called me with a fraud alert.  The $221 did go through, however, so now waiting on getting that refunded, as well as a brand new debit card.  Western Union needs to do something about people being able to wire money without a pin, ID or something!  Pain in the neck to have to clean up after all this!!

A total of $1869.98 was taken from my account within 18 hours. Luckily my bank alerted me quickly and reversed the charge. It is supposedly a Western Union in California. Check your bank account daily!

The 33 cents was probably a test run to see if they had your account info right. If you ever see micro transactions like this, immediately alert your bank  and change pass words.

About $222 withdrawn from my account with "WU," a "reference" number and Western Union's Customer Care number listed next to it. Three fradulent transactions for "Lyft rides" also took place on the same day. No telephone call and no emails, just withdrawls.

Just received a credit card bill with numerous charges designated to WU 877-989-3268 CA.  I have used Western Union recently to wire a grandson a few times; however, only about twice and the credit card co. has always verified the transaction with me.  The many reflected in this bill are not mine and I have cancelled the credit card.

They left a message this morning about a WU money transfer. I haven’t used WU, no one sent me money. Checked my bank account this morning and have a $82.00 pending withdrawal from WU 1-877-989-3268. Got a new debit card and will be disputing this charge with the bank as soon as it’s no longer pending.

Well it doesn't matter to me who hacked what how it went down the bottom line is it came from Western Union that's the bottom line has anybody gotten a refund because I did a fraud reporting they were very thorough with that however I want the refund from them and I have not gotten one has anyone else?

They stole $150 for a “phone payment” in august and $178 in September. I thought, because of the way the charge showed up, that i was actually making my phone payment - until i realized that it comes out typically as “sprint” on my transactions and this one comes across as SYNCB Phone Payment with this phone number attached out of Georgia. That’s when i caught the mistake. Called my bank and they reversed all of the charges. SCAMMERS

This person put me on hold for a long time and kept getting back to me telling me to keep holding. They debited my account for 453.90 which I never authorized. I googled this number and they said it was Western Union. I have had no transactions with Western Union. This is a total scam.

My debit card was charged twice from this phone number .  I reported it to my bank and they are checking into the fraud.

On my card it says syncB phone payment $320 was withdrawn😱

Then why are you here? You already know to whom this number allegedly belongs. Do you often look up known phone numbers?

This number is certifiably Western Union.  I've used WU to send funds to Colombia.

Scammers frequently spoof legitimate phone numbers so there's no guarantee this is "certifiably Western Union" calling. And why are you even here since you already know who this number allegedly belongs to?

I also got two unauthorized transactions from this number.  Fortunately my fraud protection jumped in.
