- RoseBEWARE! This individual calls trying to sound like she has an emergency call. The problem is the name she uses does not exist ion your company. This may be a number that charges you to talk to. Do not answer, or hang up as soon as she mentions an unfamiliar name.
- Caller: Personal Call
- Concerned Person| 2 repliesBEWARE!! We just received 3 phone calls in a row from this same number claiming to be an Office supply store in Chicago looking to relocate to California soon. They asked for our Controller's name and when we didn't give it to them- they hung up. But they called back and said they were trying to get our credit card info on file so when they moved here they could get us started with office supplies. It was a very strange call. Needless to say, the person on the other line hung up when they didn't get what they wanted from us! Beware because It totally sounded like we were getting set-up for some kind of a scam!
- JohnI just got the same call, the lady asked for our CEO and when I asked her what it was regarding she said "a friend of my father's told me to get in touch with him" and when I asked again what it was in regards to she said it was personal.

- Susan replies to Concerned Person| 1 replyJust received the same call and message. This individual claimed her name was Diane Taylor from UCR Office Supplies, same story moving from Chicago to California. She also wanted to know who she can speak with if I am not available. I advised just go to our operator and she will get her connected, and said "oh okay".
- JackKerry Reynolds She says!!! Do Not Believe Her!!! She is an Impostor Kerry Reynolds Is dead!!
- MMGot the same call early this week - almost identical script as Concerned's call - Office supply company from Chicago relocating soon to California - caller asked for the person who no longer works for the company. When I informed her of that she proceeded to ask to speak to the owner or the person who does the purchasing of office supplies. I happen to be the latter - in the meantime, I've already googled the number and saw these posts.. so I played along by politely telling her that the owners are not available and the purchasing agent is not interested. Talk about persistence - she then asked who the name of the PA is, so I said that won't be necessary since we do not want anything that she is offering.. she kept on by saying I just need it for my notes -- sure you do... She hung up !!!!
- VernJust got a call from this #, twice in a row. They stated that from the 'State of Arizona' and wanted to know how many employees I had. Told that is just me. She hung up. Called right back. I filed a complaint to FCC. Did a *57 after to the call to trace it. We'll see what happens.
- Caller: "State of AZ"?
- anonymous replies to SusanBeware this sounds like the scam where the scammers send you a bunch of office supplies that you never ordered, then bill you and threaten court if you don't pay up. Do not give out any info whatsoever, not even the time of day.
- LindaI received a call from these people today also. This is the second time they have tried to talk to me. The National Do Not Call Registry is not too much help. They got an airhorn blasted in their ears by me today. I am fed up with this crap. The government needs to spend less time spying on us and cracking down on the people who are trying to scam us hard working Americans.
