found a call on my cell phone and checked on the internet to see who it could have been and saw the comments from a multitude of people.  Did not try to call back - what's the use?

I'M TIRED OF THEM CALLIN ME.

....it worked!!! they caled first time and hung up, I went on line ......I I see lot's of ppl have the same problem, so next time they called.....1,5 min later, I was blowing like crazy!!..... they never call back?!!!

I would like to report this as harassment! The govenment should not be allowing these kind of calls to come through!My phone company told me it's up to the government to stop these! This was as everyone else says a 1-888-111-2222 number!

They keep calling me day and night, after I picked up the phone, there is no sound from the other side. I held the phone for a while, still nothing happened. They drove me crazy, what can I do to block their phone call? Is it a real number?

Maybe "Jodie" at the Call Center where this number is being used to mask the true numbers for multiple tlelmarketers would like to hear from all of us that are afected?

Summer Bay REsort calls and hangs up when questioned

They keep calling my cell....I didn't recognize the number-so I haven't answered the call-today I did, and they hung up on me. From the other comments, I believe it is Summer Bay Resorts-I'm going to call them and demand my money back for this behavior

A women called and said that I purchased a 4 night, 3 day stay in the Daytona area and that I gave her a credit card number on June 9 2008. The offer expired and I think she was trying to get me to do it again. I would never give a credit card number to anyone calling me and when I tried to pursue this with her, she hung up.

This number calls and then they hang up - I tried calling them back and it says the number is not in service.

I have been getting calls from this number for the last 2 week- on my cell of course.  I am tired of it and the next time they call, I will answer with not so nice words.

I pick up the phone today, told the caller to stop phoning
and take me off the do not call list. Guy was so aggessive and mean.
He told me, I had bought a 500.00 pkg from Summer Bay Resorts !
That is a lie! I was ripped off from Summer Bay Resorts over 2 yrs.

Never, buy anything from these people! Summer Bay has more complaints
then any other company on the page. BBB is covered up with fraud files.

I think I will try that!   They are now calling several times a day.  If I answer the phone, there is no response on the other end.

The "Robocall" Ban is suppose to start today...and I have already had a call from them!

Keep getting calls two or three times a day. I usually let it go to voice mail, but they never leave a message. When I pick up, they ask for my husband, when I tell them he's not available, they either just hang up or they say they'll call back later. I've asked them several times to stop calling, but apparently it makes no difference.

probably because you are not bothering to report companies that are violating the DNC laws.

EVERYONE HAS TO REPORT UNWANTED CALLS AND STOP EXPECTING DNC TO KNOW YOU ARE GETTING THEM

My story is pretty much the same as "Ginamac" 2 above. But I found out that your cell phone provider may have a "Spam Controls" section where you can put that number on a temporary block list. For example my cell phone provider is Verizon Wireless. And when I login to "My Verizon" account from the internet, I choose the "My Services" tab and on the left you should see a section called "Spam Controls" Verizon only allows a total of 5 numbers/messages to be blocked at a time, as well as an "Internet Spam Blocking" for 5 internet addresses. However these numbers and website will only be blocked for 3 MONTHS at a time. And id rather update "My Verizon" profile every 3 months than be bothered at all odd hours of the day everyday. And it has now been 2 weeks 3 days, since i put this number on the "Spam Controls" blocklist and not a single call since =)

Hope this helps anyone else out there with this very annoying & immature issue.

Anyone know what these losers stand to gain by calling our phones?  They're not on the line when I pick up and they don't leave messages.

I keep getting calls from this number and they hang up on me when I anwser the phone. Sometimes they ask for my husband and when I tell them he is not here they hang up on me.

i get 3-4 calls a day from 8881112222... just got another one... i pick up.. and as soon as i say something the call disconnects... i've tried saying nothing and the call will last pretty long... but as soon as i say something then it drops
