This number left a message on my machine while I was out, and named my health insurance plan, but this number and the other number they told me to call, 1-800-529-0577, do NOT appear on the back of my health insurance card. They also said I could go on-line to ICC.optom.com/

They have been calling me every day this week.  I don't answer it.  Wish they would leave me and everyone else alone.

I received a message from these people claiming to be my health insurance provider, which they are not. DO NOT share your personal information with these people! They claimed I should go to icc.optom.com or call them back.

Sounds like a scam to me. Leaving messages naming my health insurance and said I should call OPTOM a number other than this 888 number.

Msg left on ans/mach requests return call from my husband re: his health ins coverage.
Number on c/id is 888-200-0328.  Number left for returning call is 800-529-0577.  Why two different numbers.(???) I am skeptical.

Really? This sounds like phishing scam to me.  What other info do you have about "Optum"?  You do know the number and name can be spoofed, right?
-- I am curious why you are posting back here if you know the call was "legit." This seems somewhat shilly to me.

To Future Readers: I would be very careful about calls from this number. Numbers and names can be spoofed. If the questions are about an insurance claim, it is best to call your carrier and verify that they are trying to reach you, and for what reason. Outside companies can be using this ploy to collect information for various marketing and sales scams.

This number left me a voicemail, claiming to be calling for the company of my health insurance plan (name dropped my company) said to call them back at 1 888-200-0328. I googled the number first because i talked to my insurance company today they didnt bring anything up. They also said I could go online to ICC.optum.com, spelling it differently than what the caller id showed.
