08/31/16 3:42 pm central time.  They called.  I pressed '1', then '2'.  A male 'human' from India picked up.  I told him not to call along with one colorful cuss word.  He immediately started cussing me out above and beyond ever expected and until I hung up.  Called the 888 number back and a kind voice message stated, 'this is a publishing company not a credit card caller, a spoof call'.  Bad and sad situation all around.

Robo call about credit cards. I waited for a person. A man with a heavy accent answered. I told him to stop calling so he just hung up. I called back and got a recorded message that the number had been spoofed. They were a publishing company not credit cards.

Got a call from this number to mobile phone.  I didn't answer.  No caller id tag.  They left a 10 second empty voice message (low electrical hum in the background).

Got a second call.  This time the message was 25 seconds and had a female recorded voice - talked about credit card rate reduction.

I usually tell the person with the India accent (can be a male or female) that I do not understand them... Then I say what!..... you like to have sex with dogs???? This ends the unwanted conversation very fast... especially for females.....

Fraudulent offshore telemarketer trying to get your credit card info (Bank, exp. date, and Card Verification Value (CVV) number from the back of your card) under the guise that they can offer lower interest rate.

When they asked for this information I told them to hold on while I get my card then set my phone down until about a minute later when they realized they's been 'had' and hung up. We'll see if the calls continue.

The usual annoying robot call. Never leaves message, just keeps calling every day, sometimes multiple times a day. Since they use an auto dialer there's really no way to stop this trash from coming. You just keep blocking numbers but there's always some other scammer that calls. So very trying. I wish the FTC could put an end to this nonsense.
