This number called and guy named Bob Meadows left message stating he is serving papers and I need to be present with 2 forms of ID

Bob Meadows called saying he will show up at my home and place of residence to sign papers and needed 2 forms of Id. Doesn't answer when call is returned.

Did he ever show up or was it a bluff to call back?

Just so you understand, unless that person comes back to check for replies, they will have no way of knowing you asked them a question.

But this is a typical ploy of debt collectors trying to get you to call them back so they can bully you about a debt that you may or may not owe, that they may or may not be able to prove you owe and that they may or may not be able to prove they have the legal right to collect.

If you know you have a debt in default, contact the original creditor for information on who is now collecting or deal directly with the original creditor if they are willing.

If you do not have any debts in default, ignore and move on.
