888-200-5742

My mother keeps getting a call from Jordan Parker with the office’s Shepherd and Associates , says “ I have your name “ —- —-, I’m look for —- —-, please return my call it is very important, my direct number is 888-200-5742. I do expect your call. Thank you.”
But gives no information as to what this is regarding and no account number to reference. I’m not sure if this is a scam?

I got a call telling me to call 7162770924. A same scenario,  blocked number

I recieved calls form this number and another number that had area code 716. The man said his name is Hank Smith from Shepherd and Associates. He claimed I was a person of interest and did say a case number. He was sounding very intimidating. He stated if I did not return his call within 24 hours that I would be summoned to court. I returned the call even though he sounded as if I was in serious trouble. The person who answered stated that Hank was not available maybe he could assist me. He asked me if I was Yvette and then asked to verify the last 4 numbers of a SSN. I asked what is this call about and what is it pertaining to. He asked again about the SSN and I asked again what is this about. He became Mr. arrogant just like Hank. I don't know you and I don't tell anyone my SSN especially over the phone. He then stated see you in court and hung up. I called back and a differnt man answered the phone and I informed him to never call my phone again. He stated what number and I said play dumb you see the number so don't call me again. They called the following number using the 888 toll free line. I hate harrassing collection agencies who want to make you feel like you are going to be arrested or something. There should be a law against these type of debt collecting practices.

It's a debt collector and it's a violation of the law for them to block their caller ID.

Do everyone else a favor and get a new keyboard.  Your caps lock key is broken.

This number are scammers.

Their read to me: “Security Alert. Your credit card on AMAZ0N will be charged $792.99 for your last order #123169.Contact us on 18882005422 if you wish to cancel.” I don’t even have a credit card. This number is not collections. This number is a SCAM.
