I got a voicemail from a "compliance officer" that this is a legal matter about someone claiming to have the same last name as me, though I have no idea who they are talking about. Seemed a bit threatening for whomever they are trying to reach.

I just got a call from Jerry a compliance officer from 669-236-3485 they are very threatening and supposedly this phone number is banned from contacting people thru the FTC....

They have are aggressive and are harassing my family and work. They said I have a case number and will sue me if I don’t pay. I want to sue them if they keep doing this.

I received the same voicemail claiming they will be out to my place of residency and/or employment.

Claiming he is a compliance officer and will be contacting my employer. Did not give a company name but said his name was Tim Thorton.

I have received two msgs from this company; one from Robert and one from James Ryan.  They say they work for Alliance.  When I called back to speak with James Ryan a man by the name of Isaac White answered the phone but could not provide me with any information regarding the “case” number that was left on the msg or that I provided to him.  I was then transferred to the extremely rude James Ryan. I was told that he would not forward the proper documentation to me so the “debt” could be validated as it is not his job.  He then proceeded to tell me that they will be filing 2 civil lawsuits against me. All I could do was laugh at the guy on the phone.  This is quite a scam they are trying to pull.
