- JeremyDon't waste your time with these Indian scammers.
Filing complaints with govt is a waste of time since calls originate from India. You might write your carrier and report it but so far, no one can stop these calls. So, just hang up, or if you have time to waste and feel like wasting thier time, have at it.
I get calls all the time.
Today's answer will be.
Butchers Slaughterhouse, cal I help you?
I will then go into detail and ask how many carcass he would like to buy today. I will go more into detail on the cows and how good our meat is compared to others.
Then, once he gets my attention on his goals, I will play with him some more. They love cows in India!- Caller: Scammers
- Call type: Telemarketer
- JoSame scam as always. Indian accent trying to access your computer. I love Bill's response and Same's. I'm going to use those next time they call because there is always a next time.
- Caller: Windows Maintenance
- Jeremy replies to RonYou have to lead him in first. Act dumb and let him or her think they got a live one. Then toy with them. There are tons of ways to fk with a scammer. They get most angry when, after a long period of setting you up for the scam, that, in fact, you knew the whole time. They become unhinged and fun to have been a part of it.
- Jeremy replies to victoriaHe hung up not because of the FCC threat, but because he knew, you knew, it was a scam. They are completely attuned to responses and repetition of calls and responses. Two choices you have:
Block the number (they just put you on another number)
Or waste thier time if you have nothing better to do.
Lots of options, but govt can't do anything about foreign callers. - Jeremy replies to TimboDon't get mad, get even.
Waste thier time! If at home, take ten minutes to turn computer on (in their minds) while you put phone on counter and resume you dinner. Just before dessert, go back and tell them you got computer up. Then tell them to hold cause you have a weak bladder and have your dessert.
Once finished, an after dinner drink (and laugh) will be needed. Briefly return to phone and let them know you are relieved and it was a great relief. Then just deal with every question and comment with delay and act stupid. Once they need to know your computer Id information than stall them or give them false info, again just act stupid and play a long.
They will get unhinged at some point here.
Just a suggestion 🙂
