I just kept punching 0 until I got a lady. I told her to take me off their damn list and she said "Ok, have a nice day" I asked her to confirm that I was no longer on their list and she said "ok, have a nice day". I then told her if they call me again I would report them to the police for harassment.

UNSOLICITED SALES OF FEDERAL POSTERS

See my post of May 31, 2011.  Today is June 15, 2011.  They must have me on a robocall two-week cycle.

This is not true.  We have never ordered any free posters from the government, as you said in your post, and yet we got this call, too.  Just like any spammer, phone spammer, etc., they get your number from one of the millions of 'business lists' that other spammers/phone spammers sell and resell ad-infinitum.  Most of this information comes from whitepages websites, etc.  Google your business phone number sometime, and you will likely see it in dozens of places.  This has nothing to do with 'government control' or controls or whatever -- it's because our business numbers (all of us) are on the internet and can be scraped easily.

This robo calls me every day, sometimes more, about labor posters, which we do not use and never have ordered, nothing just a cold call every day.  I am really getting sick of it.  I hang up and go back to use the phone and it is still tied up with this stupid nonsense, won't hang up for some reason.

I get calls from this number every week about a package that is suppose to be delived to me that I never ordered.  How do I stop these calls?

They wanted to sell me some posters, this is a residence not a business, the lady says it does not matter.

Is that true ?

We missed their call and they left a piece of some prerecorded prompting in voice mail.

As for other comments about the posters, I believe it is correct that you can find them for free from the appropriate gov't agencies.  And there's no such thing as "poster police", of course, but putting up the (free) posters would be a principled thing to do for the employees, imho.

Unwanted call, did not answer, voice mail said press 1 for yes and 2 for no and hung up.

We got a call also.  When I "ordered" 0 posters a real person came on line.  When she insisted I needed labor law posters, I told her "We are all slaves here and have no need for laws."

She stuttered a second and then said, "We'll take your number off the list."

Hey My Posters are ready, according to Robo Lady if anyone would like one....wait, what posters? I did not order any posters! What is this?!?!

They called back and I picked up this time.  (Referring to my previous post above.)

Dialing 0, then 0 did the trick.  

Lady came online asked something like, "Is there a reason you don't need the mandated posters?"  I just said, "We need 'em, but we can get them freely elsewhere.  Could you add us to your do-not-call list please?"  Response was "yes", then >click<.

Thanks to this site for being here!  I don't have caller ID but it seemed worth a try.  Called the number back.  Chose option 3 (not 2) to be added to the do not call list.

She lied to you.  It does matter.  Why would a residence need labor law posters?  File DNC complaints!

Am on the do not call list and the calls keep coming. I think I have more blocked numbers in my phone book than I do contacts. The # calling was 888-202-2376
