Says It's for a red flagged account that's past due. Don't tell you who they are & to just call them back. Thinking it's a scam as I don't have anything unpaid.

Saying they are serving documents to my job from 1-3 Thursday  or they will go to my home address  if i dont call 888 203 3981 never stated who they were or my name or reason ..but i hear people in the background talking.

Saying they are coming to serve me papers and that I need to be there or call this number. Dont know who they are.

Calls always goes directly to voicemail, does not ring through.  When I asked my phone for delivery information, there is no number, just time of call.  So frustrating.  3rd message today, a man named Paul is coming to deliver legal papers between 1 and 3 at my place of business.  If I'm not here, he will mark as refused and they will proceed with court hearings without me.  They don't reference case number, amt owed, to whom it is owed... nothing.  Left a phone number 888-203-3981 as the complaining party.  When I called that number, I was told it was Caplan and Associates.  I asked them, so I could be sure to put it in the FTC complaint.

Received call from BRM Group stating that I owed a debt from a Payday loan in 2016 taken out from American Web Loan. When I called back representatives were very rude and would not agree to send a validation letter and would not give their mailing address; would only give me an email address.  They also had phone numbers of relatives who they called and tried to use scare tactics to say they would be delivering mail to my residence and to have my attorney present!  PEOPLE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!! THIS IS NOT HOW DEBT COLLECTION WORKS!

Called and told me that I was being sued by a company for a payday loan that I have never taken out, stated that I had to pay it back right away or face legal action! He talked so fast and when I asked what company he was from, he said it 10 times faster and tried to get me to verify information. Which I didn’t but he had bank account information from years ago! Then when I told him that I didn’t have any money he said he would “postpone” another phone call for 2 weeks and then he was going to “help me get this cleared up”. When on the phone I heard what sounded like a CB radio. Then when I called back to try and get the “contract” that I supposedly signed there was no answer. Voice mail said to leave a message for mark with name phone number and case number but did not state what company or anything!
